Motherhood has made Christina Aguilera “better than ever” and the songstress is poised to prove it to the world with the release of Bionic, her fourth studio album, in June.

“I’m more confident and comfortable in my own skin,” she explained in a Tuesday interview with Q100’s Bert Show in Atlanta.

“I think [I’m] even a more sexual Christina … it’s just something that’s happening inside of me at this point in my life.”

The transformation was physical, as well.

After welcoming son Max Liron, 2, Aguilera admits she began to view herself differently.

“Seeing your body do these things you never thought possible … When you have a baby, you go through a period where your body just is not your own,” she muses. “It becomes for your child and that’s it. It is not for you anymore.”

Now that she is no longer on the “back burner,” Aguilera, 29, says she is ready to reclaim her rightful place on stage. “Once you bounce back from that and kind of get your body back … It’s a great feeling,” she adds.

Much has been said of Aguilera’s practice of “naked Sundays” with husband Jordan Bratman, and the couple haven’t changed their approach since becoming parents.

“Yeah, I mean, [Max]’s two,” she points out. “We’re big art collectors so there’s lots of female nudes around the house.”

In fact, nudity will be “the norm” for Max, and Aguilera says he’ll be all the better for it.

“It’s something to be respected and seen as a thing of beauty,” she insists. “I think it’s only weird whenever you shame it and raise your child to look at it in a weird light.”

As for her plans to make Max a big brother, Aguilera says she intends to — someday. “I would love that … but not right now,” she replies. “Right now, Bionic is the baby.”

Jon Gosselin has fired his new attorney – the one who called Kate an “absentee parent” and who two weeks ago filed legal papers seeking full custody of the kids for Jon.

“Kate, her attorneys and I are moving forward to work out things privately and amicably,” Jon Tweeted Thursday morning.

And, as for his ex-legal representative? “Mr. Anthony List Sr., Esq., is not my representing attorney; I terminated him on April 15, 2010. He has no legal right to speak to the press or anyone on my behalf.”

List had told People that he was a longtime friend of Jon’s late father, Tom, and promised the elder Gosselin shortly before his death that he would help Jon if ever the need arose.

At age 4, Suri Cruise is already rubbing elbows with royalty — the fairytale kind!

According to Cameron Diaz, who voices Princess Fiona in the Shrek films, her Knight and Day costar Tom Cruise has spilled the beans to his daughter when it comes to her character.

“It’s funny because Suri does know I’m Princess Fiona,” the actress, 37, tells People Moms & Babies during the New York premiere of Shrek Forever After Wednesday.

Despite the reality check, Diaz says Suri is still a big fan. “I’m not going to speak for her, but yes, I think she does [love Shrek],” she laughs.

And although Suri has been let in on the little secret, Diaz urges parents to allow their kids to believe the fairytale.

“When parents say to their kids, ‘This is Princess Fiona,’ I just tell them, ‘Let the mystery and the fantasy live within them,’” she explains. “Let them believe that Princess Fiona is actually real.”

Having said she’s beaten back the “monster” she calls her 30-year-old substance-abuse problems, an elegant Melanie Griffith looked the picture of health at her husband Antonio Banderas’ side for Wednesday’s opening of New York’s Tribeca Film Festival. It was certainly a cause for many celebrations.

“He did everything,” Griffith 52, told People about Banderas’ help during her struggle. (Last August, Griffith entered rehab for the third time, following stints in 1988 and 2000.) “He has been an amazing man.”

“It’s tough,” Banderas, 49, admitted to People, as he and Griffith appeared on the red carpet for the animated feature Shrek Forever After, in which the handsome Spaniard is not seen but heard – as the swashbuckling feline Puss in Boots.

Of his wife’s return to health, he said, “The entire family participated in the process of rehabilitation. We went to the place where she was doing it, we participated in all the therapies … everything, everybody in the family. It’s tough, but at the same time, very rewarding.”

Besides Banderas, Griffith’s family includes her mother, ’60s screen star Tippi Hedren, 80; son Alexander (whose father is Griffith’s second husband, actor Steven Bauer), 24; daughter Dakota (with her former husband Don Johnson), 20; and daughter (with Banderas) Stella, 14.

Having Griffith back in top shape must be wonderful, Banderas was asked. “Absolutely,” he told People, beaming as he spoke. “We are stronger right now than we were.”
