Just days after her son’s tragic death, Marie Osmond is heading back to work. Osmond’s son, Michael Blosil, jumped to his death from his Los Angeles apartment building last Friday. Despite her devastating loss, Marie is scheduled to resume performances with her brother Donny at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on March 9th.
Discussing Osmond’s decision to return to work so quickly, the show’s producer, Chip Lightman, told PEOPLE, “I think performing will help the healing process for her.”
Osmond will hit the stage following her son’s funeral, which is set to take place in Osmond’s native Utah. Donny and Marie have also scheduled an additional five shows at the Flamingo in April to make up for the time they took off following Blosil’s death.

After living apart for three months during a sex scandal media superstorm, Tiger Woods‘ wife Elin Nordegren is returning to their Windemere home, according to RadarOnline.
The couple reportedly spent three hours together on Wednesday at the massive home they once shared. A source tells the site that they were hugging, and Woods kissed her on the cheek three times.
“Extra” Lifechanger Dr. Drew Pinsky said, “It takes about three to five years to thoroughly treat a sex addict and that can be three to five years of fairly intensive treatment… so he’s really just underway right now.”
Woods and his wife returned to Orlando on Saturday with their two children after visiting Arizona for a week.

Shaun White has revolutionized snowboarding, won the big gold in Vancouver and lit his snowboard aflame, Hendrix-style, on the cover of the new issue of Rolling Stone, joining an elite club of athletes to appear on our cover not once, but twice. And as the focused, business savvy White tells it, a lot of his recent success on the half-pipe and off can be attributed to a new addition to his life: “Getting into music has changed my personality and my way of doing things,” he reveals to RS. “I’m far more open now.”
White, who began snowboarding at six and went pro at 13, has recently returned to one of his early loves — skateboarding — but he does more shredding on one of his three Les Pauls. Jimi Hendrix, Guns n’ Roses and Led Zeppelin are in regular rotation; “Whole Lotta Love” is his favorite-ever song. “I think guitar is the best thing in the world,” he says. “It’s the only thing where no matter what I do, I can’t do it all myself.”
The 23-year-old White is a bit of a loner, though. He practices his sport solo on a $500,000 private half-pipe Red Bull built him in Colorado and is known to march to the beat of his own disciplined drummer. While fellow competitors gather to watch snowboard or skate videos in their spare time, he opts out (”I’d rather do it, not watch it,” he explains). Olympic teammate Louie Vito even tried to unnerve him a bit by blasting Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the U.S.A.” in the van while White was setting his mental stereo to rock & roll.

If Playgirl ever asks Jon Gosselin, 32, to pose nude, he may be a little insulted by the offer. “We discussed it, and we’d offer him only $20,000,” Playgirl rep Daniel Nardicio tells Life & Style exclusively. “His star is extinguishing, and he’s not very [well endowed]” — as Jon’s exes Hailey Glassman and Kate Major both recently revealed. “Honestly,” says Nardicio, “it’d be more of a novelty than an actual sexy shoot.”

From political intrigue to sexual shenanigans, The Good Wife has it all – and tops Entertainment Weekly’s list for Spring TV’s 10 Best Shows. The Good Wife has proved itself unique in that it gives viewers the best of both worlds- acting as a case-of-the-week procedural drama and also stirring up engrossing serialized drama courtesy of the tabloid-worthy personal lives of Julianna Margulies and Chris Noth’s contentious lead couple. While Margulies says she was originally worried that doing a procedural drama might get boring, she was wrong. “One of the reasons Murder, She Wrote was on for so long was that America loves an ending after each show. Where you can solve it and it’s done,” she says.
The central question throughout the rest of the season becomes: Will Alicia ultimately take a page out of the Book of Sanford (as in Jenny) and divorce Peter, or the Book of Spitzer (as in Silda) and stand by her man? “The very strength of the show is that it leaves people wondering and it’s open to interpretation,” says Christine Baranski. “Is she gonna leave him? Do we really want to answer that question yet?” Adds Noth: “I don’t know if they’ll be able to recover or not- that’s part of the ongoing drama…I am fascinated by the behind the blind ambition of politicians and how they balance that with their family.”
Alicia’s growing flirtation with Will (Josh Charles) is destined to slow down- or maybe speed up – the reconciliation with her husband. “All of a sudden, everything is shifting, and it’s opening up her vulnerability to allow feelings to come up,” says Margulies. “This Will Gardner person, they have history. It’s comfortable yet very exciting.”
That’s not the only workplace drama on tap. Because of the upheaval at Stern, Lockhart & Gardner, the job competition between Alicia and Cary blows wide open when Diane and Will decide to bring on a third partner to increase cash flow with additional clients. The ouster of the show’s namesake character may seem nearly impossible, but the spoiler-loathing Margulies insists nothing is certain. “Technically, the show could go on and I could just be the good wife and not the good lawyer anymore,” says the star, who’s already taken home both a Golden Globe and a SAG award for her role in the drama. “I could, technically! You never know. But I don’t think that’s going to happen. I have a feeling they’re going to work it out.”
