Cameron Diaz is pumped to work with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake in her upcoming comedy Bad Teacher. “We’re thrilled to have him,” Cameron told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush on the Oscars red carpet yesterday.

“He’s the best person for the job. He’s going to be hilarious,” the actress continued.

Cameron said she feels Justin will have not problem keeping up with the film’s comedic actors like Justin Segal and Molly Shannon, despite his lack of comedy background.

“He’s clearly a very talented comedian, look at his ‘Saturday Night Live’ [skits],” she told Access. “He’s fantastic, he’s going to be so great.”

The blonde bombshell is really looking forward to the finished product.

“We just had our first day of shooting yesterday with Jason,” she said. “And we just laughed all day. It’s so wonderful, I’m so excited.”

Brooke Burke can’t wait to co-host Dancing With the Stars.

“Today is one of the most exciting days ever!!! With the exception of my family and children, today tops the list of all my professional endeavors!!!” Burke, 38, wrote on her Web site Monday morning shortly after ABC confirmed her new job.

“I’m crossing off one more thing from my Bucket List!” continued the actress, who won the 7th season of the show. She’ll work alongside Tom Bergeron on the 10th season, which premieres March 22 and features Kate Gosselin and The Bachelor Jake Pavelka.

Burke says she really relates to the competitors.

“I know what it’s like to step out there on the dance floor, on a whim and a prayer, trying to pull off the impossible,” she says. “I’ll see you there March 22nd. This time a LOT less stressed!”

Burke replaces Samantha Harris, who announced last January that she was leaving the show so she could dedicate more time to The Insider.

Boredom has officially set in for the unemployed comedian Conan O’Brien, but we’re all benefiting from it — especially Sarah Killen! “I’ve decided to follow someone at random. She likes peanut butter and gummy dinosaurs. Sarah Killen, your life is about to change,” Conan Tweeted. PopEater called this Sarah up, a 19-year-old from Fowlerville, Mich., to find out just how her life has changed since Conan started following her!

Sarah, or @LovelyButton on Twitter, was chosen randomly by Conan as the only person he’ll follow and since then Sarah’s followers has skyrocketed.

“Three followers, Sarah told PopEater of how many followers she started with before Conan. “Now I’m up to 16,000+ in just a few days.”

But, Sarah was warned about Conan’s plot beforehand.

“I was sent a message on Thursday [March 4] asking if it was okay,” she explained. “I replied back on Friday and five minutes later, he was following me. I had a tiny heads up.”

At first she thought it was all just a big joke, but who could blame her!

“It was really vague,” she said. “The message said he wanted to follow someone at random and wanted to know if it was okay, warning me that I would get a lot of followers. I didn’t know if they had sent it to a bunch of people just to get approval.”

Sarah and her fiancée were were big Conan fans beforehand, so how could she say no? Although it’s not like it’s been a burden to her at all!

“It has really helped out,” Sarah explained of her new Conan connection. “I haven’t had anything negative happen so far. I’m getting married on Sept. 25, and we didn’t know if we would be able to afford it. Now I’m getting custom made shoes and a dress from Kelima in NYC. They offered a gown in exchange for promoting their favorite charity, the Children’s Hunger Fund. We’re getting a limo, Classic Creations is giving us wedding bands and there’s a vineyard in California sending us wine. We’ve got it all covered now…”

Will Conan be invited to her wedding?

“Absolutely. My fiancee wants Conan to be his best man,” she said. “That would be really cool. But Conan is going to have a new show that starts the same day as our wedding. But hey, if he wants us to come on there, we’d get married on his show. That would be fantastic.”

So now that Sarah’s Twitter is in the spotlight, is she scared of what she Tweets?

“Not really. It’s kind of like being at school,” she explained. “I’m still myself, just slightly edited. No cursing or talking about boogers.”

Since becoming Twitter friends, Conan has found plenty to comment on! He Tweeted:

Sarah doesn’t think this is the end of Conan’s Twitter plan — the best is yet to come!

“He picked one person at random, and he definitely has a plan… I don’t know what he’s going to do next, but it’s probably going to be hilarious,” she said. “You can count on that.”

After not one, not two, but three postponed sentencing hearings, rapper Lil Wayne has finally been taken into custody and is heading off to jail.TMZ reports that despite the first delay — due to dental problems — and the second and third delays, which were because of a courthouse fire, Wayne is on his way to serve a year in jail on a gun conviction.

When the judge asked Wayne before the sentencing began if he’d like to say anything, he shook his head no. Afterwards he bowed his head to his fans, was cuffed and taken from the room. He’s requested special medical attention in the slammer because of his painful teeth problems.

Other than that, he won’t be so special: E! Online reports that he’ll spend his time between meals in a 10-by-15-foot cell with a bed, sink, toilet and window facing a wall. He can watch TV with other inmates in a day room, but there are no iPods allowed.

His pals and family can visit him twice a week. Hope they bring him some good books to read!

Kathy Ireland is firing back at critics who are slamming her appearance on ABC’s pre-Oscar special.

At times, the swimsuit model, 46, appeared stiff and awkward as she interviewed celebs like Zac Efron and Precious’ Gabourey Sidibe.

“No One Reads a Teleprompter Like Kathy,” screamed a TMZ headline. A Gawker editor called her a “travesty.”

But viewers on Twitter were much harsher.

One person called Ireland the best “hot mess” ever and made fun of her “stiff arm” and weird questions. “Best use of medication,” the person added.

Said another: “Kathy Ireland is freakin me out!” She’s a “great model,” one person also Twittered, but a “brutal pre-Oscar interview.”

Via Twitter, Ireland took time out to reply to all of her haters individually. (She even justified to one fan why her right hand looked so stiff: “Child care and gardening can make hands a little rough,” she explained.)

Ireland Twittered that she “cannot please everyone…and frankly I wouldn’t ever want to.”

“Don’t feel embarrassed for me,” she Twittered to another fan. “Had a blast and it was so much FUN!”

She said she thought it was “great for people 2B honest” because it helps her “learn & grow.”

But the mother-of-three was careful to stress that she wasn’t under the influence, as many people on Twitter suggested.

“No meds or alcohol Angel===just J.O.Y.!” she wrote to one fan, telling another: “Never use drugs and that as a Mom is not a cool or funny suggestion.”

She later added: “Some say I looked pregnant.LOL! Not true…others say I was drinking…would LOL if it were not so sad. Just excited 2 be involved. Grateful.”

But don’t expect her to take on regular hosting gigs.

Said Ireland (the CEO of Kathy Ireland World Wide, a $1.4 billion design empire): “I won’t give up my day job of design.”

Betty White fans, your prayers have been answered. The former Golden Girl will appear on Saturday Night Live in the near future, she confirmed to PEOPLE at Elton John’s annual Oscars viewing party on Sunday night.

Fans have been clamoring for White, 88, to do SNL – an idea she called “ridiculous” just a few weeks ago – ever since her comic turn in a Snickers ad during the Super Bowl. One Facebook page devoted to the cause has attracted half a million fans.

When asked by PEOPLE, “Are you doing Saturday Night Live,” she answered, “Yes,” even if she remains perplexed by the groundswell of support.

“I don’t know why or how,” she says, “but it’s been wonderful.”
