Peter Andre considered suicide after his split from Katie Price last year – because the couple’s acrimonious break-up left him suffering panic attacks.

The pair married in 2005 and became parents to two children, Junior and Princess Tiaamii, as well as Price’s son Harvey from a previous relationship.

The marriage broke down last year and their divorce was granted in September, but the split led to a bitter war of words between the former couple in the British press.

Andre admits he suffered crippling panic attacks after their relationship ended, and even considered taking his own life following one terrifying episode – but the thought of his children saved him from the desperate act.

He tells Britain’s OK! magazine, “I woke up at 3am and I felt a hammering in my head. I started panicking and hyperventilating, my hands were sweating and I thought my heart was going to pop out of my body. You think you’re having a heart attack. No matter how many times you’ve had it, every time you think, this is it, I’m going to die. Did I think about ending my life? You can have thoughts like that and I’m not going to lie, there were times when it was so bad that I thought, ‘Am I better off?’ But you have to look at what’s around you. My family were my entire life and that’s what stopped me.”

Demi Moore reportedly gave her daughter a pole-dancing lesson.

The ‘Ghost’ actress and 21-year-old Rumer Willis attended a recent party at exclusive Hollywood venue Chateau Marmont and the 47-year-old beauty was keen to show off her raunchy moves.

A source told Life and Style magazine: “Demi got up and impressed everyone, especially when she spun around the pole upside down.”

Rumer – the actress’ eldest daughter from her marriage to actor Bruce Willis – then decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps by giving it a go as a host of stars, including Demi’s husband Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Aniston and Leonardo DiCaprio, looked on.

The source added: “Everyone was cheering, and Leo gave Ashton a high-five.”

Former ‘Friends’ star Jennifer was very generous with her cheers as she has also become a fan of pole-dancing because it helps keep her slim.

A source said: “Jennifer can’t get enough of pole-dancing at the moment. She loves getting all the girls together so they can all do it together and have a laugh. She thinks it’s great for fitness and it makes her feel sexy.”

Other celebrity fans of pole-dancing include Britney Spears, Fergie and Kate Moss.

Mariah Carey wants to work with Woody Allen.

The singer-and-actress, whose recent performance as a social worker Mrs. Weiss in ‘Precious: Based on the novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire’ received widespread critical acclaim, admits she is a big fan of the director.

She said: “I’ve never met him, but ‘Bullets Over Broadway’ is one of my favourite movies ever. I can quote every word. I think it’s amazing.”

Mariah, whose best-known acting role was previously in the poorly-received movie ‘Glitter’, claims she is now more apprehensive about what she chooses to work on.

She told E! Online: “I’m going to try to be careful about what I do. You’ve got to work with people who bring you to another level and you have to surround yourself with people you can fully give yourself too.”

Mariah won the Best Supporting Actress at the Capri Awards last year, as well as Breakthrough Performance prize at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

Madonna and Gerard Butler had a dance-off at a post-Oscars party.

The ‘Material Girl’ singer helped host the bash at manager Guy Oseary’s Los Angeles home following the prestigious ceremony on Sunday night and was clearly in a party mood so couldn’t resist when the handsome actor challenged her dancing skills.

A source said: “Madonna and Gerard were grinding on the dance floor before getting into a dance-off. It was hilarious.”

As well as Gerard, Madonna also showcased her dance moves with Gabourey Sidibe, who earlier missed out to Sandra Bullock in the Best Actress category.

A source said: “Madonna danced non-stop for four hours. She and Gabourey were dancing together at one point. They had a great time. This was the Oscar party to be at this year.”

Demi Moore co-hosted the party with Madonna, which was attended by a host of stars, including Demi’s husband Ashton Kutcher, P. Diddy, Renee Zellweger, Bradley Cooper and Taylor Lautner.

As well as some entertaining dance moves, the 300 guests were treated to a late-night Indian takeaway as well as enjoying a cocktail created by Demi and Madonna especially for the party.

Zoe Saldana “can’t live without” sex.

The ‘Avatar’ actress – who lives with her long-term boyfriend Keith Britton – is proud of her body and thinks people should be encouraged to take a greater interest in their sexuality from a young age to stop them turning to crime.

She said: “S is for Sex. Love it, love it, love it”can’t live without it. I love sex. I love skin. I don’t believe the body is something to hide. I think in American society we’re messing up our kids by taking away the education on, and awareness of, our sexuality and replacing it with violence, guns and video games-and we’re breeding little criminals.”

The 31-year-old star also admitted she won’t rule out ever starring in a graphic sex scene in any of her movies.

She told Essence magazine: “If you asked a painter, ‘Are you going to paint in red?’ the answer would be, ‘I’m going to paint paintings and if one day there is red in it, there’s red in it.’ ”

Speaking about her relationship, Zoe admitted she always wants to experience “severe passion”.

She added: “I’m more of a punch-drunk-love kind of girl. I mean punch as in that pow, that jolt, that kick in the gut. I like things that are severe, passionate and extreme.”
