Former “Baywatch” star Nicole Eggert dated Corey Haim back in the day — and last night, she said the only “good message” people should take from his death is “say no” when it comes to drugs.

Eggert, who says she spoke with Haim’s mother yesterday, echoed Corey Feldman’s words from “Larry King” — saying “don’t assume” it was an overdose.

As we previously reported, Haim had pulmonary congestion, an enlarged heart and water in his lungs — but the Coroner has not determined that any of those conditions caused Haim’s death.

First SNL, and now The Middle!

Betty White will lend her comedic flair to the role of a stern school librarian on the season finale of The Middle on ABC, the network announced Friday.

The 88-year-old White will play a disciplinarian who chastises Brick (Atticus Shaffer) about his failure to return a stack of overdue library books.

The episode will film next week and air in May, according to ABC.

The Middle, which also stars Patricia Heaton, Chris Kattan, Neil Flynn, Charlie McDermott and Eden Sher, airs Wednesdays (8:30 p.m. EST). –Catherine Donaldson-Evans

Heidi Montag: movie star?

“I was just cast in my first feature film comedy!” the reality star, singer and plastic surgery fan Tweeted late Wednesday. “I start filming monday!!!!!

The 23-year-old couldn’t contain her excitement: “this is one of the best days of my life!!! getting ice cream to celebrate!…jump for joy!”

And it’s not a B-movie directed by her husband Spencer Pratt, either. It was later confirmed that Montage will cameo in Just Go With It, a 2011 romantic comedy starring Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman.

The Hills star isn’t the only newbie: Sports Illustrated model Brooklyn Decker (wife to Andy Roddick) will also appear in the film, which was previously titled The Pretend Wife.

“It’s a new day, a new beginning…memorizing my script for the feature comedy movie I am filming all next week,” Montag added Thursday.

Here’s hoping that Montag’s movie debut goes more smoothly than her foray into music: her album Superficial sold less than 1000 copies in its first week back in January.

Kim Kardashian is still fielding questions about Scott Disick, her sister Kourtney’s beau and dad to baby Mason Dash.

During Kim’s freewheeling Thursday appearance on NBC’s The Tonight Show, Jay Leno showed her a photo of Disick in a recent “Hot or Not” spread in Us Weekly.

Leno asked Kardashian if Disick was a “sleazeball”. “Obviously he’s made some poor choices,” she replied.

The reality star, 29, said she was headed to Miami to join her sisters Khloe and Kourtney, who are filming their reality show Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami. “Khloe is a bit frustrated,” she said. “She doesn’t like being away from her husband [Lamar Odom].” (Disick and baby Mason have joined Kourtney in Miami during the shoot.)

The 29-year-old star also admitted her packing philosophy: Kim travels everywhere — even if it’s just a one-day trip— with a comforter, king size pillow, eye pillow and socks.

At the end of her visit, she shared shots of QuickTrim with Leno and Carvey — ordering fellow guest Dana Carvey to look in her eyes as they sipped. “Or else you have a bad sex life for seven years!”

“Do they suppress your appetite?” Carvey asked.

“Oh, it does not make you have the runs,” Kim replied. “Cheers!”

The single singer visited a “fattening hut” in Uganda, munched on fried cockroaches (they’re hair-healthy!) in Thailand and chatted with super-skinny runway models in Paris.
