When The Hills returns to MTV on April 27, it will kick off it’s sixth — and final — season.

After four years of catfights, backstabbing and Speidi, the reality show is calling it quits and Kristin Cavallari, Audrina Patridge, Lo Bosworth, Brody Jenner, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt and their pals will go their separate ways.

“We are lucky and honored to have worked with this cast and tell their stories for this long, and we are grateful to the many dedicated fans who have stuck with us over the years,” MTV’s President of Programming Tony DiSanto said in a statement.

The Hills has struggled since Lauren Conrad left the show last June, but the final season promises lots of drama.

Well, according to the actor himself, he’s growing a beard — and that rat’s nest looking thing on his chin — because… he has nothing better to do!

“It’s boredom,” he told the UK paper The Sun. “No other reason than that.”

While his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin, is strutting her stuff on Dancing With the Stars, Jon Gosselin is going to be spending his nights alone. Morgan Christie, 25, Jon’s third girlfriend since his divorce from Kate last June, has kicked — or rolled — the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad out of the Santa Barbara residence where he was languishing and packing on pounds. “It was five months of his pure laziness and her mounting frustration,” a pal close to Morgan tells In Touch exclusively. “She couldn’t take it anymore. He was lying around all day long, not contributing to anything and not working. He doesn’t even have his own friends. He even mooched his social life off of her.”

Jon and Morgan met in Park City, Utah, in late 2009, but kept their relationship under the radar. “They were so into each other at first; he put on the whole show for her family just like he did with Hailey Glassman and her parents,” the pal reveals. But Jon was forced to pack up his stuff on March 21 and hit the road. “She’s very relieved.”

In the wake of a scandal that has rocked her marriage, Sandra Bullock is quietly determining her next move, say friends.

Stunned by revelations that her husband Jesse James cheated with tattoo model Michelle McGee, Bullock “needs time to grieve and process what has happened,” a close friend tells PEOPLE in its new cover story, on newsstands Friday.

The friend says Bullock, 45, learned of her husband’s betrayal just eight days after her triumphant March 7 Oscar win.

“Her family was everything to her,” adds the friend.

Another pal tells PEOPLE that while Bullock completely trusted James, 40, he could show another side of himself when she wasn’t with him. “Jesse is such a chameleon,” says this pal.

According to a source close to James, the motorcycle mogul hopes to salvage his marriage and is currently focused on caring for his three children: Chandler, 15, Jesse Jr., 12, and Sunny, 6.

“He’s trying to keep the lives of the children normal,” says the James source.
