In her upcoming reality show The Price of Beauty, Jessica Simpson traveled the world with BFFs Ken Paves and Cacee Cobb to learn “what defines beauty” in different cultures.

In this clip, 29-year-old Simpson and her two pals visit a Buddhist temple in Thailand. As a Buddhist monk teaches the trio how to meditate, Jessica can’t help being Jessica.

The single singer visited a “fattening hut” in Uganda, munched on fried cockroaches (they’re hair-healthy!) in Thailand and chatted with super-skinny runway models in Paris.
