The former Big Brother 11 contestants and couple are back at it again on The Amazing Race 16, and not much has changed because she still can’t tell time. “There were moments like my asking what time we have to be there and her refusing to learn what ‘a quarter till’ is,” says Jeff Schroeder. “A third grader knows what ‘a quarter till’ is. Can you learn it? Maybe in the next couple of days?” And the two of them aren’t doing much on-camera canoodling. “We’re not being so lovey-dovey, which is what everybody wants us to be,” says Jordan Lloyd. “There was one point when I was mad at him and he was mad at me. He was ready to strangle me.”
The couple can’t give discuss specifics, though Lloyd recalls having some concerns about the show’s physical demands. “I don’t like to work out. Everybody knows that. If I work out one day, I want to see results and so yeah I was worried,” she says. “Though I was more so worried about having to eat a bug or something. I would rather Jeff eat a bug than me.” When asked if the two ever got hurt, Schroeder would only say, “We are in perfect health right now.”
And apparently, so is their relationship. Though the couple definitely had their share of spats on the course, Schroeder insists their bond remains strong. “To throw a couple into a stressful situation like this, you are going to see different sides to both people,” says Schroeder. “We definitely didn’t stray from who we are. We got along, we got through it and we’re still together. It made us stronger, I think.” And now their goal is to eventually end up in the same state. “This is the longest we’ve gone without being together,” says Schroeder. “One of us has to move … I’m not saying anyone’s getting engaged though, anything like that.”

John Mayer is known for dating beautiful women — and clearly doesn’t discriminate on their ages. The 32-year-old rocker, who was previously involved with 40-year-old Jennifer Aniston, is now rumored to be dating Taylor Swift, 20.
“Taylor and John are absolutely more than ‘just friends,’” a source tells Hollywoodlife.com.
“They aren’t ‘boyfriend and girlfriend’ or anything as provincial as that, but they have taken their friendship to the next level,” the source adds.

It’s gearing up to be quite a busy year for actress Zooey Deschanel. Along with the arrival of her and M. Ward’s She and Him ‘Volume 2′ next month, Deadline Hollywood confirms that she’s foraying into television by starring as a groupie in a pilot for HBO. Taking a page from Cameron Crowe’s ‘Almost Famous,’ which she also had a role in, Deschanel is starring in an adapted version of professional groupie Pamela Des Barres’ memoir ‘I’m With the Band.’
The book chronicles sexual conquests Des Barres had with the likes of Mick Jagger and Jimmy Page. There’s no word yet as whether or not this adaptation will be placed in the ’60s or a more modern, fictional account that uses the original book as a guide. We’re pretty positive Deschanel can use her and husband — and Death Cab for Cutie frontman — Ben Gibbard’s insider tales from the business.
She and Him recently gave fans a taste of what’s in store for their new album with the song ‘In the Sun’ and announced dates for a quick spring jaunt, which sold out immediately. They’ll also be hitting Austin next month for SXSW 2010 as well as Coachella in mid-April.

Pete Wentz confirmed Wednesday that his band, Fall Out Boy, has broken up.
“As far as I know, Fall Out Boy is on break,” Pete wrote on his blog. “I can’t predict that I’d ever play in Fall Out Boy again.”
Via Twitter he added, “Something would have to change in my head or my heart — not my wallet. It’d have to be real.”
Pete, who is married to Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and has a 1-year old son named Bronx, is looking toward the future. “Letting go of this giant part of my life has been hard,” he blogged. “But I want to be back on tour having my son watch me from the side of the stage.”
The band had been together since 2001. It consisted of Pete on bass, Joe Trohman on guitar, Andy Hurley on drums and Patrick Stump as a vocalist and rhythm guitarist.
Stump told Spin.com, “I’m not in Fall Out Boy right now.” Still, he says, “One way or another, the band will always be around.”
