According to TMZ:

Brian Austin Green is more than $70,000 behind on mortgage payments for his home in the Hollywood Hills — but according to his rep, it’s all part of a calculated real estate move.

SunTrust Mortgage, INC has filed legal papers in Los Angeles which show Green owes $71,251.42 as of January 26, 2010. The docs show Green took out a $2,000,000 mortgage with the company in 2006.

According to the docs, SunTrust has begun the foreclosure process and has the right to put the house up for auction if Brian doesn’t fork over the green.

But Green’s rep says Brian has worked out a deal to get rid of the house in a “short sale” — which means SunTrust will allow Green to try and sell the house for less than he owes in order to recover as much money as it can … subject to the bank’s approval.

It’s unclear if the mortgage company imposed a deadline on the sale.

Angelina was in Haiti visiting earthquake victims.

Angelina Jolie visited earthquake victims in Haiti on Tuesday in her latest trip to help survivors of conflict and natural disaster as a goodwill envoy for a United Nations agency.

Jolie, 34, who has been a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. refugee agency UNHCR since early 2001, traveled to quake-shattered Port-au-Prince after visiting injured Haitian children in a hospital on Monday in neighboring Dominican Republic.

The actress, who has been on numerous U.N. humanitarian missions to help refugees from more than 20 countries, was due to visit a hospital and other relief sites treating hundreds of thousands of hurt and homeless Haitian quake survivors.

While reports on the Web say the final ‘Twilight’ installment will be two movies, the studio is staying mum

It’s something Harry Potter has blazed the trail for, “Twilight” fans have suspected for quite some time and several of the franchise’s stars seem eager about. Now, it seems, the word may finally be official: “Breaking Dawn” will be split into two movies.

The news was reported Thursday (February 11) by Deadline Hollywood, although it should be pointed out that many news outlets have “announced” the same fact over the last few months, all apparently premature.

“No decision has been made,” a representative for Summit Entertainment told MTV News after the Deadline Hollywood story ran. “As we have said all along, we are continuing to work with Stephenie Meyer to bring ‘Breaking Dawn’ to the big screen.”

“I have this from several sources and it’s definitive,” the Web site insists. ” ‘Breaking Dawn’ is the longest in Stephenie Meyer’s four-book series lengthwise and it’s the most graphic — presenting birth, attempted murder, death and of course vampire bites. … Summit Entertainment no doubt could save money by making these ‘Twilight’ Saga movies #4 and #5 back to back and is currently looking for director or directors to helm both features.”

In the past, Meyer has expressed mild concern — but faith in the studio — over the possible two-movie idea. Back in December, the split was seemingly reported, then became unofficial once again. Meanwhile, series stars like Anna Kendrick, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz have weighed in with various opinions. Much of the consideration for a split seems to stem from a similar decision made on the final Harry Potter novel, which will soon debut as two films.

What does this all mean for the millions of die-hard Twi-hards who would kill for an additional “Twilight” film to be made out of Meyer’s series? Well, as we’ve often learned in the past, months of reoccurring rumors often become eventual fact. Stay tuned for more on the “Breaking Dawn” saga — including, quite possibly, official news at some point — in the weeks and months to come.
