Very boring!

Is Blake going bare for Playboy?
Gossip Girl star Blake Lively is hoping to heat up her career with a saucy nude pictorial on the pages of Playboy Magazine. Lively — who made a splash on the big screen in The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants I & II — wants to shed her squeaky-clean image by shedding her undies for The House That Hef Built, gossip boxes reveal in the Feb. 22 issue of The National Enquirer. (So let’s take this with a grain of salt!)
“Playboy had already been calling her — she figures a Playboy spread now will really give her some heat in her career,” a spywitness squealed to the tab.
We hear the 22-year-old beauty is demanding a whopping $2.5 million to strip down — a move that has divided Blake’s tight-knit family.
“Blake’s mom has been in the business a long time and knows Kim Basinger and other actresses really benefited from posing for Playboy early in their careers,” The Enquirer’s source explained. “But her dad Ernie is old-school. He says, ‘Over my dead body.’”
Insiders say Blake — who plays NYC fashionista Serena Van der Woodsen on The CW’s R-rated teen drama Gossip Girl — considers the potential Playboy deal Step One in her plan to break away from the teen scene and attract more mature roles.
“The show has been hit with teens, but she says she doesn’t want to get lumped in with The Jonas Brothers. Posing nude would certainly distance her from her tween fans and put her in the adult world.”
The leggy stunner was recently cast as Ryan Reynolds love interest, Carol Ferris, in the upcoming superhero blockbuster The Green Lantern.

Radio shock jock Howard Stern is rumored to be a front-runner to replace American Idol judge Simon Cowell. And Howard’s wife, Beth Stern, tells Life & Style she thinks it’s a “brilliant idea.”
“I get the benefit of sitting next to him when he watches American Idol every week,” she tells Life & Style. “And he is so hysterical. He’s brutally honest. He actually roots for the contestants. He’ll say if he thinks they don’t have talent, but he’s a cheerleader for them too.”
Beth tells Life & Style she doesn’t know if Howard — who told his listeners he’d do it “for $100 million” — is really going to try to nab the judge’s chair, which will open up next season. But, Beth adds, “I think he is having fun with the idea!

Exciting, I know. Try to contain yourself.

British actress Emily Blunt has vowed never to join the celebrity social networking craze on Twitter.com — because she refuses to “bore” her fans with useless updates about her everyday life.
The private Devil Wears Prada star can’t understand why anyone would want to know about her daily routine and insists the micro-blogging site is simply “awful.”
She tells People magazine, “Twitter (is) literally the most awful thing. It’s mind-numbingly boring to hear about people’s adventures at the gas station. I couldn’t care less.”
Blunt recently admitted to maintaining a “dual existence” in a bid to keep details about her relationship with actor fiancé John Krasinski out of the tabloids.
She told PopEater.com, “You have to have a dual existence… You have the acting side of it and the business life… and then you have your private life and your downtime. You have to make that divide, and make it clear to you.”
