Jon Cryer’s Ex-Wife Allegedly Requested Hit

Jon Cryer, co-star of “Two and a Half Men,” was the target of a hit engineered by his ex-wife … this according to the woman’s ex-boyfriend.

According to documents filed in the custody battle between Cryer and ex-wife Sarah Trigger, Trigger’s lawyer claims on December 21, 2009, Trigger told her that her ex-boyfriend, Eddie Sanchez, had said he was going to kill Cryer and Trigger’s estranged husband, David Dickey.

Trigger’s lawyer became so alarmed she contacted lawyers for both Cryer and Dickey. On January 10, Dickey confronted Sanchez. According to legal docs, “Mr. Sanchez not only flatly denied making such a statement, but he said that it was [Sarah Trigger] who had contacted him on numerous occasions, stating that she wanted to see the pair [Cryer and Dickey] dead, and even asking Mr. Sanchez if he would kill the pair, or if he would not, inquiring whether she could speak with Mr. Sanchez’s father about this issue.”

According to Cryer’s declaration, he notified Warner Bros. security on January 15. Cryer also states his co-star requested that “we do not film in front of a live audience.” The documents do not ID the co-star but presumably it’s Charlie Sheen.

The FBI then launched an investigation but had no comment today when we called.

Trigger’s family law attorney, Vicki Greene, tells TMZ, “Sarah has not threatened anyone, especially Jon and those are statements that are refuted and she has evidence to show that Mr. Sanchez has already recanted those statements to her.”

Simon Cowell’s girlfriend says they’re engaged!

That’s not really his girlfriend (she’s below) I just thought this picture was better.

The sweet music of wedding bells is going to be ringing for music mogul and ‘American Idol’ meanie Simon Cowell, as he and his girlfriend Mezhgan Hussainy are engaged. The word comes straight from the mouth of Hussainy, who told RadarOnline.com’s David Perel about the engagement exclusively. The 36-year-old Hussainy and Cowell, 50, have dodged engagement rumors for weeks. Congrats, you crazy kids! Exclusive details after the jump!

Speaking to PopEater exclusively, Radar’s David Perel says that “Mezhgan is bursting with joy over the engagement and it’s obvious how happy she and Simon are together.”

According to the Radar report, Hussainy “was all smiles as she told RadarOnline.com exclusively that the couple, who are living together, are officially engaged.”

Hussainy, the head make-up artist on ‘Idol,’ met Cowell on set years ago, and the sparks began to fly months ago. While a wedding date hasn’t been announced, Radar hints at a fast walk to the altar by saying you shouldn’t “put off shopping for their wedding gift too long.”

Body of Growing Pains Star Andrew Koenig Found

The search for Andrew Koenig has come to a tragic end.

After a high-profile, weeklong hunt for the former Growing Pains star, Vancouver police announced Thursday that they believe they have found the body of the 41-year-old in the park where he was last seen alive 11 days ago.

The remains were discovered around noon in the expansive Stanley Park. More details are expected to be announced at a 5 p.m. press conference.

Police launched an exhaustive search for the actor-filmmaker on Sunday, when he was reported missing after failing to board his flight back to the U.S.

Koenig, who had a history of depression, was last seen just two days earlier, on Feb. 14.

His disappearance prompted multiple public and heartfelt pleas from his parents, Walter and Judith Koenig, while numerous famous friends sounded the alarm online.

Though the search for their son ended tragically, Andrew Koenig’s parents remain touched by the overwhelming amount of support they received over the past week.

“The Koenig family thanks you for your kind thoughts at this difficult time,” read an email sent out Thursday night by a rep for the family.

“It means a lot to them and they are very appreciative of the support they are receiving. Each of these emails will be printed and bound in a rememberance book.”

Lady Gaga on the cover of Cosmopolitan!

Cosmopolitan magazine’s April cover girl is Lady Gaga. She opens up to the magazine about her spectacular success, her devoted fans and the love advice that ONLY she would give. Photo credit: Kenneth Willardt

On her ex:
“I had a boyfriend who told me I’d never succeed, never be nominated for a Grammy, never have a hit song, and that he hoped I’d fail. I said to him, ‘Someday, when we’re not together, you won’t be able to order a cup of coffee a the fucking deli without hearing or seeing me.”

On her career:
“I ate shit for so long, being told I didn’t fit the mold and that I was ‘too pop’ or ‘too theater’…I’ve always been delusionally ambitious to the point where people don’t understand me.”

There are tons of questions we want to ask Lady Gaga. After all, she’s one of the most fascinating music artists we’ve ever seen. And unlike most people who are given that title, she actually manages to live up to it—she’s a true artist—while still singing ultracatchy pop songs that make it impossible not to dance. She’s kind of a genius… but she’s also kind of bizarre. Who is she, really? We plan to find out.

But as we wait for her to meet us at a chic Las Vegas sushi restaurant, we’re completely preoccupied with the most obvious question of all: What the hell will she be wearing? That translucent bubble dress, a bra that shoots sparks, lingerie that oozes fake blood—Gaga never looks boring. In fact, we’d be shocked if she’s so much as touched a pair of sweat pants in her life.

Sadly, there are no pyrotechnics when we spot her strutting toward us in a pair of black shades, a skimpy bustier, and an impossibly tight vinyl miniskirt. Just as we realize we have no idea what to call her (though we bet “Stefani” will get us slapped), she stretches out a pale, delicate hand in our direction and declares “Gaga.” Of course.

We offer her a cocktail, but she has a soldout concert in a few hours, and she doesn’t want to drink before the show. Instead, she orders riceless sushi and dressingless salad. For Gaga, life is all about being in the spotlight… and why would she do anything to jeopardize that? “My friends joke that I’m dead until I get onstage,” she says. “I’m dead right now as you’re speaking to me.”

This issue is on newsstands March 9th.

L.A. Coronor: Drugs in Brittany Murphy’s System

The L.A. County Coroner has released the drugs that were in Brittany Murphy’s system when she died.

According to the report, “Multiple medications were present in the blood, with elevated levels of hydrocodone, acetaminophen, and chlorpheniramine. L-methamphetamine was also present.”

The report goes on, “It should be noted that the pattern of use of these medications suggest treatment of symptoms of a cold or other respiratory infection. Acetaminophen and hydrocodone are components of Vicodin. Chlorpheniramine is the active ingredient in some over-the-counter medications. L-methamphetamine is a component of some inhalers.”

We broke the story that the Coroner believed Brittany had pneumonia and tried self-medicating with prescriptions and over-the-counter drugs … and it ultimately proved fatal.

The report states, “The possible adverse physiological effects of elevated levels of these medications cannot be discounted, especially in her weakened state. Therefore the manner of death is Accident.”

UPDATE: There were 24 empty prescription bottles found at the scene for the following medications: prevacid, clonazepam, propranolol, vicoprofen, zolpidem, carbamazepine, klonopin, Ativan, hydorocodone (Vicodin) and multiple vitamins.

Also, three benzodiazapines found in her bloodstream did not match up with prescription bottles found in Brittany’s name.
