While Jay Leno gears up to take on the Tonight Show again, Conan O’Brien is preparing to hit the road in a series of live performances across the country.

Coco’s reps at William Morris Endeavor, which has a unit devoted to live appearances, have been working to secure dates for several days now, reports The Wrap.

Nothing is official yet, but Conan’s team have found a way to work around the clause in his NBC exit settlement that bans him from appearing on TV until September.

Meanwhile, once Conan’s come off the road, insiders are still suggesting he’ll return to TV on Fox, with meetings between the two camps potentially beginning as early as next month.

Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan is setting the world straight on the nature of his liaison with Jessica Simpson.

“The stuff that I’ve seen doesn’t have any bearing to the reality that I’m in,” Billy tells the Chicago Tribune, of the talk that he’s dating Jessica. “It’s like being in a cartoon. It has nothing to do with what’s really going on or how I feel.”

Billy explains that he joined Jessica in the studio to compose the theme tune for her VH1 reality show, The Price of Beauty.

“She asked me to help her out on the theme song for her new TV show,” Billy says. “[The show] has an interesting concept.

“She goes around the world to show how different people perceive beauty. In some cultures, bigger is better. In some, smaller is better. It’s interesting.”

“I ended up writing part of [the theme song]. It has a little bit of an alternative rock edge, but it’s still very pop-y.”

Although video footage from this weekend is said to show Travis Barker spitting at the paparazzi and hitting the the cameras in Calabasas, Calif., this weekend, Travis has since Tweeted that the video is one-sided.

Cops were called to the location after Travis reportedly got into a heated argument with the paparazzi, who claim they did nothing to provoke the incident, TMZ reports.

A vandalism report was made, but no arrest.

Once the cops arrived, a photog reportedly noticed that his tired were slashed.

Travis hasn’t kept quiet since the incident and has been sending out Tweets on his side of the story.

Travis Tweeted that he felt threatened while out for breakfast with his kids.

He also sent a Tweet out claiming the video footage has been edited.

Travis also explained on his Twitter that he was out with his kids not walking a red carpet and wasn’t looking for attention from the cameras.

Lisa Rinna says she is done dishing about plastic surgery.

The 46-year-old actress — who has Juvederm fillers, Botox, lip-plumping and breast implants — recently apologized to Heidi Montag for saying that she hid a recent cover of People — featuring Montag, 23, and her 10 plastic surgeries — from her two young daughters.

UsMagazine.com caught up with Rinna Sunday at the Bowling For Buddies benefit in Hollywood, where she told Us she had “no comment” on young girls and plastic surgery.

“I am no longer speaking on that subject ever again,” she told Us before letting out a laugh. “And that’s all I have to say.”

Last year, Rinna complained that she looked like a “freak” after getting too much Juvederm put in her cheeks. “I tried it because my girlfriends did it,” she told momlogic.com. “I thought, ‘I’ll do it! I saw a photo and I was like, ‘Oh Jesus. That’s no good. That’s NOT good.’”

Padma Lakshmi is now the happy mother of a daughter.

“Model, author and Emmy-nominated host of Top Chef Padma Lakshmi gave birth to a baby girl named Krishna Thea Lakshmi on Saturday,” her rep tells People. “Mother and baby are well and happy.”

Last month, Lakshmi dropped hints about her daughter’s name, saying, “I am going to name the child an Indian name. It will be after someone in my family, so don’t expect to see an Anglicized name – it will be a classically Indian Sanskrit name.”

Lakshmi, 39, announced her pregnancy in Oct. after years of struggling with endometriosis. She has not identified the baby’s father.

Right before the birth, a friend of the TV chef told People: “Padma is very happy. She’s wanted to be a mom for a long time. She was very relieved and happy when she got pregnant.”

Aussie actress Abbie Cornish has split with Ryan Phillippe, her rep confirms has confirmed.

On Sunday, Cornish, 27, was spotted moving out of the Los Angeles home she shared with Phillippe, 35. The rep declined to comment whether Phillippe cheated on Cornish.

Cornish and Phillippe, who met on the set of the war drama Stop-Loss, began dating in 2006 – around the same time he and Reese Witherspoon announced they were separating after seven years of marriage. (Phillippe has two children with Witherspoon, daughter Ava, 10, and son Deacon, 6.)

Last fall, Cornish told W magazine that being linked to the collapse of Phillippe’s marriage was “a really difficult time for me. In a normal, successful career, someone usually learns these things bit by bit. For me, it was like night and day. I woke up one day and there was this whole new thing I had to process and deal with.”

Asked if she’ll wed Phillippe one day, she said, “I don’t know [if we have plans in that direction].”
