Kim Raver is taking up permanent residence at Seattle Grace.

Raver has been upped to a regular on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” only two months after she joined the medical drama as a recurring character.

The “Lipstick Jungle” star made her debut in the ninth episode of “Grey’s'” current sixth season, playing Teddy Altman, a new cardio surgeon brought in by her former Army colleague Owen (Kevin McKidd). She quickly stirred things up by professing her feelings for Owen, laying the groundwork for a love triangle with him and Christina (Sandra Oh).

Raver is expected to appear in all but one of the show’s remaining episodes this season.

In becoming a regular, Raver joins two other recent additions to “Grey’s,” McKidd and Jessica Capshaw, who started off as recurring on the medical drama last season before being promoted to regulars.

Raver, whose series credits include “24″ and “The Nine,” is repped by WME and Mosaic.

A new, “authorized” biography outlining the purported bedroom achievements of Warren Beatty has been denounced by the actor as inaccurate – and very unauthorized. According to the New York Post, author Peter Biskind writes that Beatty has had sex with “12,775 women, give or take, a figure that does not include daytime quickies, drive-bys, casual gropings, stolen kisses and so on.” In a statement to the Huffington Post, Beatty’s attorney says the book was never sanctioned by the 72-year-old star.

“Mr. Biskind’s tedious and boring book on Mr. Beatty was not authorized by Mr. Beatty and should not be published as an authorized biography,” writes the attorney, Bertram Fields. “It contains many false assertions and purportedly quotes Mr. Beatty as saying things he never said. Other media should not repeat things from the book on the assumption that they are true or that the book is an authorized biography.”

The biography claims that Beatty lost his virginity when he was almost 20, and made up for lost time with nearly every actress in Hollywood. Among his alleged bed partners were Joan Collins, Leslie Caron, Isabelle Adjani, Julie Christie, Diane Keaton,and Jane Fonda. According to the book, Fonda told Biskind that she originally thought Beatty was gay, but their love affair changed her mind.

“Oh, my God. We kissed until we had practically eaten each other’s heads off,” Biskind claims he was told by Beatty.

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have welcomed their second child, a baby girl.

He announced on his website Sunday: “Happy New Year everybody!!! On Sunday, Jan. 3rd at 12:13am, Camila gave birth to a healthy 7lb. 7oz. baby girl named “Vida Alves McConaughey”…. Vida is Portuguese for “life” and that’s what God gave us this morning… Camila’s recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family… thanks for all your well wishes and prayers along the way. another blessed day. we give thanks. just keep livin, Matthew and Camila”

On Dec. 28, McConaughey’s mother Kay gushed to UsMagazine.com: “We have no idea when the baby is coming! The baby could come literally any minute. We are all waiting and very excited!”

Less than a year after the birth of their first son Levi, McConaughey, 40, announced this past June that he and his girlfriend were expecting again.

“We pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time,” he wrote on his website at the time. “The future looks bright as the family grows.”

In September, he blogged that he was amazed at how fast his son Levi was growing.

“He’s motoring around like [Olympic sprinter] Usain Bolt and eatin like [competitive eater Takeru] Kobayashi; Camila and I can barely keep up,” he wrote. “We call him the fruit bandit ’cause if there’s fruit out, he’s on it, takin it and eatin it.”

Added the actor, “He’s gettin bigger, more fun, smarter and craftier by the day.”
