Gwyneth Paltrow wants to learn to meditate

100108NR1_PALTROW_B-GR_03

On Gwyneth Paltrow’s 2010 to-do list? Meditate.

“My New Year’s resolution is to learn how to meditate,” the actress, 37, writes in her GOOP newsletter on Thursday. “It’s always sounded like something I should do, but I don’t know how to.”

Apparently, her pals insist the mom of two — who may have been stressed last November by the rumors that her hubby, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, was spotted kissing pal Kate Bosworth — try it out.

“My friends who do it say it’s really freakin’ brilliant,” she blogs. “They say you can’t know the peace/awareness/contentment until you do it. My brain drives me mental. I am going to start. Tomorrow.”

She asked three “amazing people” for advice on how they achieve their bliss, including filmmaker David Lynch.

“I think I get it,” she writes.

Olivia Wilde “Gutted” by Haiti Earthquake

100106A1_WILDE_O_B-GR_03

House’s Olivia Wilde just returned from Haiti, which was devastated Tuesday by a 7.0 earthquake.

“I am gutted by this catastrophe,” she says in a statement to UsMagazine.com.

She is asking fans to extend their hands to help in the relief effort.

“The organization I work with, Artists for Peace and Justice, supports the efforts of Fr Rick Frechette,” she tells Us. “Fr. Rick is a doctor and priest who has spent more than two decades in Haiti building badly needed hospitals, schools, and orphanages. He is also responsible for distributing the only free clean water in the slums of Port au Prince.

“Right now, their team on the ground needs money desperately to help dig people out of the collapsed hospitals and schools, to buy emergency medicine, to supply badly needed water and food, to help fly in doctors for the wounded children, and so much more,” she continues. “Any amount helps.”

Interested in helping? Go to www.artistsforpeaceandjustice.org.

“We take no overhead. That’s almost unheard of for a non-profit organization,” she says. “I can say with pure confidence, from first-hand knowledge that this is one of the most effective ways to offer critical, and sustainable help to the people of Haiti.”

Other celebs are reaching out as well.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which is behind this Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, is donating $100,000 to Wyclef Jean’s Yele Haiti relief fund.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s foundation is contributing $1 million.

Us has confirmed that George Clooney is also planning to host a telethon on MTV next week.

Heidi Klum: “My Boobs Are on a Schedule!”

91119A1_KLUM_H_B-GR_05

Heidi Klum may have debuted an impressive post-baby body when she walked the runway five weeks after giving birth to daughter Lou, but she admits she’s still bouncing back.

“You don’t walk out of the hospital and get right back into your 27s,” she tells the February issue of InStyle.

The 36-year-old model, who admits that she’s still sporting her belly-panel maternity pants, is in no hurry to move past the perks of pregnancy.

“Everything is about love when you’re pregnant,” she says. “The baby’s being loved by you, the baby’s being loved by your husband [Seal], by the grandparents, by your children. And you’re being loved by everyone: ‘Can I do this for you? What can I get you? Do you want some M&Ms?’”
Now, a different part of her is getting all the attention.

“My boobs are on a schedule!” Klum jokes about her breastfeeding duties with three-month-old Lou.

George Clooney to host Haiti telethon

91126W1_CLOONEY_B-GR_02

George Clooney is the latest celebrity to reach out to the victims of the disastrous earthquake that struck the island of Haiti this week.

The Up in the Air star, 48, plans to host a telethon on MTV next Friday to help raise money for the nation, the Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Clooney is in the process of reaching out to his Hollywood friends to garner famous faces for the telethon, UsMagazine.com has confirmed. The telethon will reportedly air across MTV’s various networks, including VH1.

He isn’t the only star to donate. On Wednesday, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie gave $1 million to Doctors Without Borders for the organization’s emergency medical operations in Haiti.

Paris Hilton, Ben Stiller, Lindsay Lohan and Adam Lambert have also urged support for the earthquake survivors through posts on their Twitter pages. Additionally, Oprah Winfrey began her talk show Wednesday by asking viewers to donate.

“This is a time where we, as a global nation, should come together and support those who are in need,” she said.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association also announced this morning that it is donating$100,000 to Wyclef Jean’s Yele earthquake relief fund.

Find out how you can help at the Red Cross (text “Haiti” to 90999 to donate $10 to the organization).

Jessica Simpson’s big boobs are the butt of internet jokes

1263491733_jessica-simpson-290

Once again, Jessica Simpson’s body has become the butt of Internet jokes. On Wednesday, she went out to eat — and bloggers couldn’t help but notice her chest.

TMZ.com said the “former singer … looked really stuffed” at the organic restaurant, adding that “Jess knows natural free-range breasts are much better for you than ones pumped full of preservatives.”

JustJared cracked that she put her “breast foot forward” during the outing.

German newspaper website bild — which said Simpson was rocking “one serious cleavage” — joked that she had a “XXL” bust size.

X17 also noticed that Simpson’s “boobs looked even more bodacious than usual” and speculated that the singer was either “wearing a wonderbra or “gained a few pounds (all in her boobs).”

Simpson probably isn’t amused by the chatter.

In October – after a Fox NFL Sunday spoof mocked her weight by saying she’d make a good “defensive tackle” – she Twittered: “I will never understand why people attack for a laugh.”
