Farrah from MTV’s “Teen Mom” was attacked by her mother!

154ujwj

I’ve seen the show, her mom’s a loon!

One of the young mothers from the MTV reality show “Teen Mom” was allegedly choked and then hit by her 54-year-old mom this weekend — and mom is now facing domestic violence charges.

The Council Bluffs Police Department in Iowa tells TMZ Debra Danielson – the mother of 18-year-old “Teen Mom” Farrah Abraham was arrested at around 1 PM on Saturday for suspicion of domestic abuse/serious assault.

According to cops, Farrah and Debra started arguing over childcare issues when Debra allegedly threw an MTV shirt at her daughter … which landed “on or near” Farrah’s baby, who started crying.

That’s when Farrah claims she went off on her mother — who then grabbed Farrah by the throat. Farrah told cops she pushed her mother’s hand away from her throat, causing her mother to strike her on the right side of her head and mouth.

In the report, officers say they observed multiple cuts on the right side of Farrah’s lips.

The story was first reported by the The Daily Nonpareil.

Neil Patrick Harris to star in an episode of “Glee”

FP_IMAGE_3891673/FP_SET_3890351

In the obvious news of the day, word comes from Auseillo Files that Neil Patrick Harris will be starring in an episode of “Glee”.

Remember that giant scoop I told you (via Twitter) I had gotten at the Golden Globes? This is it: Neil Patrick Harris is nearing a deal to appear in the May sweeps Glee episode that’s being helmed by his Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog director, Joss Whedon.

In retrospect, maybe I should’ve called this particular scoop “ginormous.” I think it’s warranted, don’t you?

Anyway, Harris wants to do it, and Glee creator Ryan Murphy sure as hell wants him to — he’s creating a role especially for the How I Met Your Mother scene-stealer. And yes, the part includes a little song-’n’-dance. In fact, the gig not only would reunite Harris with Whedon, it’d also reteam him with Zachary Woodlee, who choreographed the musical number in HIMYM’s recent 100th episode.

The one possible snag — and there’s always one, isn’t there? CBS has to OK its MVP’s appearance on Fox’s breakout hit. But at least since HIMYM and Glee are both produced by 20th Century Fox, so there’s no conflict on their end.

So what do you think? Stoked, or stoked beyond belief? Try to describe your level of anticipation below. I know I can’t describe mine. At least not adequately.

My Review: “Crazy Heart”

FP_IMAGE_4382022/FP_SET_4379346

I watched the Golden Globes last night, and after seeing Jeff Bridges win the “Best Actor” award for Crazy Heart, I decided I couldn’t wait to see the movie. My husband and I (who were kid free for the night) went to see the 10:00 showing downtown.

A worn-down country singer and a burgeoning journalist form an unusual bond in this drama adapted from the novel by Thomas Cobb. His spirit broken by multiple failed marriages, too much time on the road, and too many nights with the bottle, Bad Blake (Jeff Bridges) had started to feel like he was headed down the path of no return. When probing young writer Jean (Maggie Gyllenhaal) digs deep enough to unearth the broken man behind the legend, however, Bad realizes that redemption may not be such a long shot after all. Robert Duvall and Colin Farrell co-star.

Crazy Heart is a phenomenal movie. I absolutely loved it. Jeff Bridges has always been extremely underrated, in my opinion. He has given amazing performance after another for the past couple decades. I’m pleased that he was finally recognized for this performance, because out of all the Jeff Bridges movies I’ve seen, this might just be his best.

The thing that’s so amazing about Jeff, is that he’s such a good actor – you forget he’s acting. In this movie, he portrays country singer Bad Blake so seamlessly, you forget that it’s Jeff Bridges up there and not Bad himself. Jeff sings all the songs himself, and I couldn’t believe how beautifully soulful his voice was! (Even my husband who hates country music loved all the songs.)

There were other amazing performances as well, including Robert Duvall, Maggie Gyllenhaal and believe it or not, Colin Farrell. Maggie plays Jean, a journalist who falls desperately for Bad, vice versa. She gives a superb performance as a single mom who is drawn Bad’s magnetism, even if her instincts tell her to be careful. Robert Duvall plays Bad’s oldest and dearest friend, and the relationship between the two men is endearing.

What surprised me the most was Colin Farrell. I’m not saying I think he’s a bad actor, I’ve just never liked his movies. In this movie he plays Tommy Sweet, Bad’s once protege. Tommy quickly became more famous than Bad, and Bad hates him for it. Most movies would make Colin’s character the bad guy- but what I loved about this movie was that Colin’s character was actually a great guy.  A singer who knew he would be nowhere without his mentor. To show respect for his mentor, and to pay him back for everything Bad’s done for him, Tommy tries to give Bad another chance. Will Bad take it?

Colin Farrell – who is Irish – not only perfected the twang needed for portraying a country crooner – but also performed his own singing expertly. I think I kind of like a country singing Colin!

Overall – this movie really IS as great as everyone says it is. You don’t have to love country music to appreciate this movie. There are so many reasons to see this movie, I hope I’ve convinced you!

Jennifer Lopez to Get Down & Dirty on ‘Glee’

Jennifer Lopez Filming 'The Backup Plan' In New York City

Jennifer Lopez has been added to the star-studded line-up of Glee guest stars, but Jenny from the block will not be rocking in one of her usually stylish outfits (as seen on the sidelines of Miami Dolphin football games). The songstress will be appearing in a hairnet and kitchen apron at William McKinley High School if creator Ryan Murphy has his way, Extra reports.

“We are writing a role for Ms. Jennifer Lopez, who we love,” Ryan told Extra after the Golden Globes. “We want her to be a cafeteria lady.”

The hit Fox musical show won Best Television Series, Comedy or Musical, last night at the Golden Globes, and the cast owes it all to the Gleeks.

“We would like to thank all the wonderful people who actually thought a musical would work on primetime television,” said Murphy during his acceptance speech. “This show is about a lot of things, it’s about the importance of arts education, and this is for anybody and everybody who got a wedgie in high school.”

New episodes of Glee star in April and a highly-anticipated Madonna episode is sure to please fans. Also, Olivia Newton-John will be getting “physical” with Jane Lynch.
