Lindsay Lohan definitely loves the limelight and knows how to turn in on for the cameras. It seems only suiting that fellow basking limelight-lover Richard Lunger, a 77-year-old Austrian entrepreneur known for lusting after young celebutantes and reality TV stars, invited LiLo to be his arm candy at the high-profile Vienna Opera Ball next month.

Richard asks a different female celeb every year to the flashy and famous event, the Associated Press reports. The announcement, which came today, of his lady date is highly-anticipated by the media.

Richard’s former dates included Nicollette Sheridan, Dita Von Teese and Paris Hilton.

This year’s Opera Ball takes place Feb. 11.

Linds has been very involved in giving back to those less fortunate, recently traveling to India to draw attention to the poverty-stricken area and alleviate the plight of children.

Kara DioGuardi is not giving Heidi Montag’s decision to have 10 cosmetic surgeries in one day high marks – but mostly she feels sad for the reality star.

“First of all, I just want to give the girl a hug,” the American Idol judge said on The Bonnie Hunt Show” Wednesday. “I don’t know what’s going on.”

DioGuardi, who is used to advising young people with dreams of stardom, says the Hills star was doing just fine before she went under the knife.

“The thing is, you are in the peak of your career right now and you think you need to change,” says DioGuardi. “Imagine when the tides turn and you don’t have everyone in your face, then you are really going to be like, ‘What is wrong with me?’ ”

DioGuardi, 39, also confessed that she recently took a “real close” look in the mirror and, after fixating on fine lines around her eyes – to which Hunt quipped, “Yeah, it’s bad” – told herself, “I worked hard. I really did.”

She advised viewers, especially women, to find “a passion in your life. Accomplish something outside of your looks.”

Sweet dreams, baby Hank!

Kendra Wilkinson, who rose to fame as one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends on The Girls Next Door, posted a photo of her snoozing 6-week-old son, dressed in a Nike sweat suit and hat, to her Twitter page Tuesday.

Hank, delivered via C-section on Dec. 11, is the first child for Wilkinson and husband Hank Baskett, who plays wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts – and who might have something to say about the fact that his son’s hat has a basketball, not football, logo on it.

So adorable!

Lindsay Lohan has dismissed allegations she has been self-harming to cope with spiraling depression, insisting she is in a “wonderful place mentally, physically and spiritually.”

The Mean Girls star sparked fears for her health after she was photographed with a red scratch on her inner arm earlier this month.

However, she insists the mark is years old – and she’s urging internet bloggers to stop speculating about her personal life because she’s never been happier.

She tells gossip website PerezHilton.com, “I’ve had that scar on my arm for a very long time now – it’s funny it’s just being noticed. I had surgery a while ago for an injury I had when I was younger, nothing having to do with depression or anything of the sort. Now back off, people! There are more important world issues to focus on!”

Here’s the latest from TMZ:

We’ve learned Charlie Sheen has just arrived at the hospital where his wife, Brooke Mueller, is in ICU.

As we first reported, Brooke was taken to an L.A. hospital and put in ICU — we’re told she has a fever of 105 and possibly pneumonia. Sources connected with Brooke say the problem is related to oral surgery she had earlier in the week. She is being treated with antibiotics.

Charlie arrived with two friends, including Mark Burg, Executive Producer of “Two and a Half Men.” We’re told Charlie is living in Burg’s guest house, because of the protective order.

The protective order does not say the parties cannot be in the same room. It says they cannot have direct contact or direct communication. Therefore, Charlie could theoretically be in the same hospital room, without speaking to Brooke.
