Kara DioGuardi Doesn’t Care About Her Wrinkles

90915M2_DIOGUARDI_B-GR_02

Kara DioGuardi thinks women in Hollywood need to stop fixating on the way they look.

“It’s so important, especially as women, to find a passion in your life,” the American Idol judge says in an episode of The Bonnie Hunt Show to air Wednesday. “Accomplish something outside of your looks.

“I’m almost 40, and this December, I looked in the mirror and I got real close, and I was like, ‘Damn, I’ve got some lines!’” continues DioGuardi, who hits the big 4-0 next December.

She doesn’t mind her imperfections though.

“All I could say to myself was, ‘I worked hard. I really did,’” adds the songwriter-producer, who has collaborated with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Carrie Underwood.

DioGuardi doesn’t completely ignore her appearance, though. Last week, she announced she was ditching her big curls and dresses for the ninth season of her Fox reality show.

“Part of it is that I’m somebody who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup or do a lot with my hair,” she says. “So it was hard to see myself all dolled up.”

As for what she’ll wear this year, DioGuardi says she’s “still experimenting and still getting it together… I’m definitely trying to go more to a natural style, more rock-glam — just something that feels more like me.”

Charlie Sheen’s Wife OK, Court Hearing Still On

80222p1_mueller_b_b_gr_01

TMZ has learned Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s wife, is going to be ok and she still plans to make the trip to Aspen for the hearing on Friday.

Mueller’s lawyer, Yale Galanter, tells TMZ the infection that put her in the hospital today is under control — an infection she got as a result of oral surgery earlier in the week.

Galanter says Brooke — who was admitted to the ICU with a fever of 105 — was pumped full of antibiotics and she should be released today.

Galanter says the goal is for Brooke to make it to the hearing on Friday — a hearing to modify the protective order that prohibits Charlie from having any contact with Brooke. Galanter says he’s not sure if Brooke will be in any condition to travel and it’s possible he’ll ask the judge to allow her to testify by telephone.

We’re also told a motion should be filed shortly in Aspen to allow Charlie to have contact with Brooke, while she’s in the hospital.

Charlie went to the hospital a short time ago .. under the protective order he’s allowed to be in the same room with wife Brooke Mueller, but technically he can’t communicate with her.

Conan: “NBC Is Run by Brainless Sons of Goats Who Crap Trouble”

100118M4_OBRIEN_B-GR_01

As Conan O’Brien tapes his final episode of The Tonight Show on Friday, and some predict an official announcement on Wednesday regarding his future, the embattled late-night host is biding his time with jokes and jabs at NBC.

“Hi, I’m Conan O’Brien, and I’m just three days away from the biggest drinking binge in history,” he said during Tuesday’s monologue. “I spent the afternoon at Universal Studios’ amusement park, enjoying their brand-new ride, the ‘Tunnel of Litigation.’”

Noting reports that he is legally prohibited from bad-mouthing the network behind the mess (Jay Leno is taking over O’Brien’s time slot after his prime time show was axed), O’Brien joked in his monologue Tuesday “Nobody said anything about speaking in Spanish.”

He then rails off an insult in Spanish which translates to: “NBC is run by brainless sons of goats who eat money and crap trouble.”

The redheaded comic then shares what he’ll do with his free time — and his plans include a Jersey Shore cast member! “Introduce myself to my children…Finally make good on my plan to backpack through India with ‘The Situation.’…Make a big move to Fox. Megan Fox.”

Amy Winehouse Receives Minimal Punshiment After Pleading Guilty to Assault

100120W1_WINEHOUSE_B-GR_02

Amy Winehouse was let off easy by a British judge in court today. The rehab singer went to Milton Keynes Magistrates Court in Milton Keynes, England to plead guilty for assaulting a Milton Keynes theater manager in December while she was belligerently intoxicated. The judge did not rule with an iron fist; however, the punishment is to remain out of trouble for two years, a feat that does not come easily to Amy.

Amy, 26, appeared in court under her married name, Amy Civil, pleaded guilty to common assault and disorder for pulling the man’s hair and calling him a “f–king c–t” during a family-friendly showing in the theater, E! News reports.

The ruling — Amy was fined and ordered to pay $300 and given a two-year conditional discharge, meaning if she behaves for 24 months she is free from any further legal action.

“It might be harder than if you had a fine, because you have to stay on the straight and narrow for two years now,” said District Judge Peter Crabtree.

According to E! News, Amy’s lawyer admitted she had been drinking before the show, though the prosecution argued, “Miss Civil said she felt embarrassed and patronized and, with no premeditation, grabbed his hair and pulled.”

“It was a reaction, an overreaction,” Judge Crabtree told the singer. “Clearly there was no injury.”

The judge then commended Amy for her progress toward lasting sobriety after examining her most recent medical report.

“You clearly have taken effort from this report to address your alcohol problems and any other problems you may have, so you get credit for that,” he said.
