Martha Stewart’s pole-dancing video has become an Internet sensation after she performed the stripper moves on her show Monday, but when I caught up with her Wednesday, she discounted the frisky romp.

“I didn’t do a stripping routine,” she tells me with a chuckle during the American Antiques Show opening night gala benefiting the American Folk Art Museum held at NYC’s Metropolitan Pavillion. “I did the pole dancing, it’s called.”

She adds, “It’s a fabulous exercise. I look at it as an exercise.”

The 68-year-old domestic doyenne is “impressed” she didn’t wake up sore, and “definitely” will return to a class next week.

What moves does she most want to learn?

“The last one that she did – upside down,” she says. “That’s the one I’m gonna to learn. Next week, I’ll be doing it.”

A female Italian reporter wearing yellow gloves attempted to molest David Beckham’s genitals in a shocking publicity stunt on Wednesday. Elena Di Cioccio of Italian TV show Le lene (“The Hyenas), ambushed the soccer star, 34, outside a restaurant in Milan, Italy as photographs and video at the Daily Mail attest.

“We have seen fascinating photographs of David Beckham in his underpants,” Di Cioccio told her viewers, referencing his famous underwear ads for Armani. The reporter says that Beckham was “seemingly very well endowed and even his wife says that he is well equipped…we wanted to find out if he was as well endowed as the pictures suggest or if they were touched up.”

As Beckham gave an interview to other reporters outside, Di Cioccio snuck past the camera crew and, rushing Beckham, attempted to grab his privates. The star gave the reporter a stone-faced look before his security detail hustled him back to a hotel and Di Cioccio was dragged away.

“David you have conned us all!” the reporter shouted. “It’s all a trick”‘

A spokesman for AC Milan told the Daily Mail:’We are aware of the incident and we have spoken to David about it but we have no comment to make.”

Audrina Patridge and singer Ryan Cabrera have gone public – on both coasts now – with their courtship.

On Wednesday night in Los Angeles, The Hills star, 24, and Cabrera, 27, attended R&B singer Ray-J’s birthday party at Wonderland nightclub, where they made little effort to hide their affection for each other. “They never left each other’s side,” an eyewitness tells People. “They were flirting all night and sipping from each other’s drinks.”

And just a few days earlier, on Sunday night, Patridge and Cabrera (whose exes include Riley Keough and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz) attended the Broadway musical Rock of Ages, starring American Idol alumnus Constantine Maroulis, at Manhattan’s Brooks Atkinson Theater.

Occupying a pair of seats on the aisle, six rows from the stage, the lovebirds “arrived together, and no one seemed to recognize them, they flew right under the radar,” a fellow theater-goer tells People. “They had drinks at their seat. They totally looked like a couple. It was really cute. They were holding hands and her hand was on his leg. They were very smiley with each other, and joking around.”

Despite being in a very public setting, the theater-goer says, “They wouldn’t pose for photos though which was weird because they totally came and left together.” And the pair reportedly didn’t end the night there: They were overheard “talking about going out after the play that night.”

When Kelly Rowland arrived at the party for celebrity makeup artist Scott Barnes’s new book, About Face, on Wednesday, the singer wore a black sequined Herve Leger gown that showed off a newly slender figure.

“I’m telling you, I’m not eating sugar. I didn’t even try to lose weight,” Rowland said at the party at New York nightclub Provocateur. “I read this book, called You Are What You Eat. [The author, Gillian McKeith,] is talking about sugar, she’s talking about meat, she’s talking about cheese. I did some of those things for a month, but for the most part, it is just sugar that is gone from my diet.”

And did she in fact loose weight? “I lost weight, probably almost 10 pounds. But 10 pounds did a lot. All of my friends are going, ‘Oh, I need you to eat a muffin.’ It’s more here, in the hip and [rear] area, but it’s definitely trimmed down since no sugar has taken place.”

Oh, and if Rowland appears as skinny as a pole, there may be another reason. “Right now, I have a pole dance instructor in Miami and she teaches me a lot,” says Rowland. “You’d be surprised how hard those ladies work.”

With his son, Cameron, in federal prison after his July 28 arrest on felony charges of dealing drugs, Michael Douglas says he was “no angel” as a father.

“I’ll assume whatever responsibilities I have to,” the leading man, 65, tells AARP The Magazine for its March/April cover story. “Would it have been better to have been around more? Absolutely. There were absences, and I was no angel.”

Douglas said his troubled, 31-year-old son – who faces a potential life sentence on charges of dealing crystal meth – also is taking responsibility for his choices.

“Cameron has a lot of life ahead,” said Douglas, who reprises his Oscar-winning role as corporate raider Gordon Gekko in Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps, opening April 23. “He now recognizes his own demons and struggles.”

And though Douglas says his son is a “tough kid,” he still expressed concern for Cameron’s welfare: “He’s in a federal prison, and you’ve got some big, bad boys down there.”

Espouses Viagra
On a lighter note, Douglas shared other intimate details of his life, including his relationship with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, 40, who “God bless her … likes older guys”, and how male enhancement drugs Viagra and Cialis are “wonderful enhancements.”

Douglas also says he is able to give greater attention to his children with Zeta-Jones – daughter Carys, 6, and son Dylan Michael, 9 – than he could to Cameron. “I’m not so concerned about my career,” he said. “I see the confidence my kids have got versus the struggle for confidence that I had or that Cameron might have dealt with.”

Still, he’s admittedly fearful of being a septuagenarian when his daughter hits her Sweet 16, saying: “I’m not going to be able to physically chase the boys away.”
