Looks like Jenny From the Block will be making a pit stop at MacLaren’s Bar. CBS announced Wednesday that Jennifer Lopez will guest star in a March episode of How I Met Your Mother.

“We’re looking forward to a week of revealing outfits and sexy dance moves the likes of which this show hasn’t seen since Regis Philbin guest starred,” series executive producer and co-creator Carter Bays says.

But don’t expect Lopez to show up in another nude cat suit anytime soon. According to a press release, she will play Anita Appleby, an outspoken self-help guru who makes it her mission to break caddish Barney (played by Neil Patrick Harris) of his womanizing ways.

That sounds like corporate attire — think power suits and shoulder pads instead of sequined robes and Louboutins.

Lopez, who is in talks to guest star on FOX’s Glee, joins the roster of high-profile celebs to appear on HIMYM. Britney Spears and Rachel Bilson have also made cameos — and Carrie Underwood just taped an episode last week.

The dipping real-estate market obviously is affecting everyone, including Oscar winners. One current casualty: Nicolas Cage, already beset by financial woes.

The Leaving Las Vegas and Honeymoon in Vegas star’s foreclosed, 14,300-sq.-ft. home in the Nevada tourist destination may have sold for $4.95 million on its first day on the market, but Cage paid $8.5 million for it in 2006, the Associated Press reports.

The residence otherwise screams Vegas splendor: six bedrooms, seven-and-a-half baths, a 16-car subterranean garage, a theater and a glorious view of the city’s downtown Strip.

Cage, who has recently changed business managers, currently owes the IRS approximately $14 million. Much of his money troubles comes from his real-estate dealings. In the past few years his investments have included 15 palatial homes in Germany, the U.K. and New Orleans. He also paid $3 million for a Bahamian island.

Cage, 46, earns $20 million per film, and his latest, the supernatural thriller Season of the Witch, opens March 19. Cage has assured People “all taxes will be paid.”

Brooke Mueller — Charlie Sheen‘s wife — has reportedly checked into a North Carolina drug and alcohol treatment center.

Sources tell TMZ the pneumonia Brooke suffered last week was a secondary situation — her immune system had become so weakened by substance abuse that she became susceptible to infection.

After Heidi Montag went under the knife in 2007 to enlarge her breasts and streamline her nose, she thought she would be done perfecting her body. “No more surgery for me,” the reality star claimed. But all that changed when Heidi went back to her plastic surgeon’s office for a more than $50,000 full-body overhaul on Nov. 20, 2009.

Fast-forward to Jan. 22. Heidi and hubby Spencer Pratt sat holed up in their Pacific Palisades, Calif., home, in shock over the hate mail the 23-yearold had been getting about her extreme makeover. “Spencer ordered about seven bunches of flowers to cheer up Heidi because she’d received a letter or an e-mail saying that her plastic surgery was against God’s will,” a neighbor of the couple tells Life & Style. “Heidi’s apparently very spiritual, so this kind of criticism really stings.”

While strangers’ opinions shouldn’t matter, even friends think Heidi’s decision to undergo 10 procedures in a single day went overboard — to a dangerous degree. “She looks like Cat Lady,” a pal of Heidi’s tells Life & Style. “It’s all a little too much.” Spencer was also horrified by Heidi’s appearance, according to his friend. “He loved how Heidi looked before this surgery,” a friend of Spencer’s tells Life & Style. “Because she’s still swollen and the surgery hasn’t settled yet, he’s a bit shocked.”

Still, Heidi doesn’t think she has a problem. “Every starlet is getting surgery every other day to keep up her looks,” says Heidi. And supermodel Janice Dickinson thinks Heidi shouldn’t make any apologies for her surgeries. “She looks fantastic,” Janice tells Life & Style. “And she loves the fact that she’s being compared to Pam Anderson, which, in my mind, she very well could be.” Janice’s only gripe? She thinks Heidi is destroying Dr. Ryan’s reputation by saying she almost died. “Any time anyone comes out of anesthesia, you’re going to be weirded out,” says Janice. “Personally, I live for it.”
