Mackenzie Phillips: “The Victim Is Punished”
When Mackenzie Phillips decided to tell the world about her 10-yearlong incestuous relationship with her father, she knew that her life would change forever. But she had no idea that sharing such a painful secret would cost her some of the people she believed cared about her most.
“Maybe I am naïve,” Mackenzie, 50, tells In Touch. “I thought people would think I was weird for writing this book, but I never thought they would say it was a lie. I never thought my family would abandon me.”
Yet four months after the former One Day at a Time star related sexual encounters with her rocker father, John Phillips, in her best-selling autobiography, High on Arrival, that seems to be exactly what has happened.
Several of Mackenzie’s closest family members — including her stepmother, Michelle Phillips, and her half sister Bijou — have cut off all ties with her. Michelle has even accused Mackenzie of having a history of mental illness, a claim which both Mackenzie and Michelle’s daughter (and Mackenzie’s half sister) Chynna have denied. “This is what happens when incest survivors speak the truth,” Mackenzie shares. “The victim is punished.”

victims don’t usually write a tell-all book. they deal with it properly with counselling and/or group therapy.

Her father John Phillips was at Sharon Tate’s house when Charles Manson was being introduced to music industry agents and managers like Altobelli. He was there the night the murders took place or was supposed to have been there.
Interesting that Charles Manson never had incest with his own children and that he was raped as a teenager by adult authority figures.
Mackenzie should listen to Manson’s abundant outpouring of good music that is about peace and love. It will help her to see the world she lives in where brainwashed people are unable to recognize who the real victim is and how to deal with unpleasant truths.
Manson cut out of all deals involving his music because other men were jealous of his lifestyle, his attractiveness to women, his talent and his ability to create wealth with his talent. They called him “impossible to record” then recorded his music and sold it without his consent. He was raped physically then mentally then they locked him up so he couldn’t sue them for plagiarism and enjoy the profits. They decided that Charlie had too many blessings and that they should take some of his blessings by force. So they said he did horrible things that he never did and they were able to mount him like beasts that way.
Shed a tear for Manson, Mackenzi. You were both raped and robbed of your youth. He knows your pain times a million. He has strength of mind knowing he was falsely accused but you have your freedom. Selfish men are often molesters and rapists. Your father might have been greedy like the many men who falsely accused Charles Manson so they could rape him of his valuable intellectual property.
