Nine is a vibrant and provocative musical that follows the life of world famous film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) as he reaches a creative and personal crisis of epic proportion, while balancing the numerous women in his life including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz), his film star muse (Nicole Kidman), his confidant and costume designer (Judi Dench), an American fashion journalist (Kate Hudson), the whore from his youth (Fergie) and his mother (Sophia Loren). The film is directed by Rob Marshall (CHICAGO). The original 1982 Broadway production of Nine, with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston, won five Tony Awards including Best Musical.

Nevermind vampires, Fox is looking to get back into the werewolf business.

Net is developing the project “Howl,” from DreamWorks TV.

Project is being written by Joshua Miller and M.A. Fortin. DreamWorks TV toppers Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank would exec produce.

“Howl” is described as an epic family saga about warring families of werewolves in a small Alaskan town.

“Alaska is a place where people disappear and now you know why,” Miller said.
The script reflects the changes that are going on in the country, and “metamorphosis and constant change is the basis of werewolf mythology,” he added. “Howl” is about “the psychology of living with change.”

One of the Fox network’s first-ever series, 1987′s “Werewolf,” also revolved around the mythic creatures. More recently, CBS aired the short-lived “Wolf Lake,” while MTV is currently developing a new take on the 1980s movie “Teen Wolf.”

Pamela Anderson is recording a single about high fashion. Which is funny, because she always looks so high fashion!! *cough*

Her friend Richie Rich — a fashion designer who’s also dabbled in music — tells the New York Post, “we are recording a pop single together.” The former Baywatch star’s musical experience isn’t expansive, Rich admits. “Pam says she wants to sing, but nothing too difficult, so she’s just going to sing the word ‘high’ over and over.”

Seems like the actress is branching out in many different directions: she and Rich are also collaborating on a clothing line, A*Muse. When the line shows this February for Fashion Week, Anderson plans to walk the runway herself as her ex-husband Tommy Lee provides the music.
