Columbia Pictures is developing “Pretend Wife” as a starring vehicle for Adam Sandler, with Jennifer Aniston in talks to co-star.

The script, written by Allan Loeb and Tim Dowling and once known as “Holiday in Hawaii,” is being kept under wraps. Columbia is planning a shoot early next year and eyeing a release on Feb. 11, 2011, the Friday before Valentine’s Day.

There’s a lot of jokes floating around that she’s already played the Pretend Wife before with Brad Pitt... and I have to admit, I laughed. It’s kinda the story of her life. Oh well, good for you Jen – pokin fun at yourself.
