Alec Baldwin is eyeing a return to school to complete a graduate degree when he walks away from acting.
The movie star has vowed to bow out of show business when his current contract on hit sitcom 30 Rock expires.

Despite boasting an Oscar nomination, two Golden Globes and two Emmy Awards, Baldwin insists his body of work is nothing to be proud of and considers his “entire movie career a complete failure”.

And the star is determined to turn his talents to something else by heading back to the classroom.

He tells news show Extra, “I’m doing (new movie It’s Complicated) and I’m going to do the TV show for a couple more years. It’s the best job I ever had and it’s so much fun. I love doing the show (30 Rock) with Tina Fey – she’s so funny – but, I’m thinking in a couple of years, maybe, I want to try something different for a while… I don’t know. I could go back to school again and finish my degree. I have an undergraduate degree. I want to get a graduate degree. I’m thinking about a lot of different things because what I’m doing now, it’s very time consuming.”

Kate Hudson says Alex Rodriguez is a “nice” guy.

The 30-year-old actress – who stars in the new musical movie ‘Nine’ – is still refusing to disclose any details about her relationship with the baseball player, nicknamed A-Rod, despite being photographed with him on numerous occasions over the summer.

Kate, who appeared on the ‘Late Show’ with host David Letterman, was asked if she was a big Yankees fan and friend with Alex Rodriguez, to which she giggled and said: “Yeah, he’s a friend of mine. Nice guy.”

When the Hollywood actress was asked how they’d met she tried to change the conversation but finally caved in when she was asked if he was a nice guy.

She said: “Yeah, he’s a nice guy. You just can’t help yourself! You just can’t! I knew it was going to come at some point!”

She also said she’d had a “really fun” summer.

Kate recently spoke about how she gets frustrated with the constant speculation over her private life.

She said: “I can’t go two months without being pregnant, engaged, or breaking up because I’m too needy, which is always the one they love. I’m not needy. You kind of have to laugh it off, but it can kind of screw up other things around it.”

Josh Brolin made the most of his love scenes with sexy Megan Fox during filming for Jonah Hex, because he wanted to take “revenge” on his actress wife Diane Lane for all of her steamy onscreen clinches.

The Milk actor plays disfigured bounty hunter Hex in the Western, a big screen adaptation of the popular comic books, with Fox – who is regularly named as one of the sexiest women in the world – as his love interest.

And he admits he reveled in the opportunity to make Lane envious because she has enjoyed romancing leading men like Richard Gere, Viggo Mortensen and French actor Olivier Martinez over the years.

He says, “I made out with Megan Fox, which was nice. Everybody says it’s very uncomfortable doing love scenes. My wife has done a few movies with a couple of love scenes, maybe this was maybe a revenge of mine, of some sort. If you look at it from that perspective, it’s kind of like the ultimate revenge. Megan Fox is the ultimate revenge, you hear what I’m saying?”

Brolin struggled to overcome the obstacle of heavy make-up to kiss Fox, but eventually managed to master his technique.

He adds, “The thing is for me, I had a prosthetic on my face because as Jonah Hex, the character, half of my face is burned, so it’s kind of difficult to figure out to get your tongue around (the mouthpiece). I’d love to say it was really, really tough but it went really smoothly.”

Matt Damon realized it was time to shape up and trim down his waistline when his stepdaughter nicknamed him “Matty Fatty”.

The Hollywood star piled on the pounds for recent roles in The Informant! and to portray South African rugby captain Francois Pienaar in the new Clint Eastwood movie, Invictus.

Damon confesses he didn’t realise just how big he had gotten after filming on Invictus wrapped and was convinced his clothes had shrunk in the wash.

Even a quiet word of advice from his wife Luciana wasn’t enough to send him running to the gym.

He says, “My wife thinks I have a condition: the opposite of anorexia. I look in the mirror and I think I look great. We had to go to some film function and I put on a suit. I put it on and it came up to (my forearm). I thought, ‘That’s strange, my suit’s shrunk.’ So I put on another one, and same thing. Third one, same again. So I said to my wife, ‘Honey, this dry cleaner is no good. These suits were tailored for me.’ And she’s going,’ OK, do you think maybe you put on about 30 pounds?’”

It was only when his stepdaughter Alexia poked fun at his weight that he decided to get fit – but not before suspecting his prankster pal George Clooney was behind his ill-fitting clothes.

He explains, “The situation resolved itself when I said to my stepdaughter, ‘Come on, it’s time for dinner.’ And she goes, ‘OK Matty Fatty!’ Before, I thought it was more likely that George Clooney had hired someone to tailor my suits!”

With all the allegations of drugs, sex and scandal surrounding Tiger Woods, he may be fleeing from the American media and heading to Sweden along with wife Elin Nordegren. According to ABC News, Tiger and Elin are planning an imminent escape to Sweden, where they will plan their next move. “Tiger is going to Sweden with his wife, and they want to leave as soon as possible,” a close friend of Elin told ABCNews.com.

The Swedish papers are reporting a similar arrangement, according to ABC, and last week confirmed that Elin had purchased a $2 million home on an island off Stockholm, reachable only by boat.

According to Elin’s friend who spoke to ABC News, “[Elin's] not rushing to divorce. … She’s going to take her sweet time. She wants all the dirty laundry to be out on the table before she signs anything.”

That scandal grew today amid allegations from Hollywood madam Michelle Braun that she arranged meetings with Tiger and at least four prostitutes from 2006 to 2007 for a total cost of $60,000, according to the New York Post.

“Tiger has been one of Michelle’s clients for years,” private investigator Dan Hanks, who worked for Braun, checking her clients’ backgrounds, told ABC News.com.

Hanks, who had access to Braun’s client list and spoke with Braun earlier in the week about Tiger, said he knew of an occasion in which Tiger hired three prostitutes at one time for an evening in Las Vegas.

Elin’s friend said she was completely blindsided by accusations that her husband had affairs with as many as a dozen women.

“Elin had absolutely no idea whatsoever that there were any mistresses until very recently,” she said.

The actress needed to keep the wintry West Hollywood weather out between takes yesterday while shooting the ensemble romantic comedy Valentine’s Day on location so she kicked off her high heels and stepped into the slippers while she headed to a local coffee shop to get herself a bit of piping hot java.
