Pink is trying to quit smoking

Pink has called on her family and friends to “ration” the cigarettes she smokes in a desperate attempt to cut back.
The So What singer has already stopped smoking at home and now wants to limit the amount of cigarettes she puffs on when she’s out with pals.
She explains, “Smoking isn’t cute at all… It’s awful. I hate the smell, the taste. I hate everything about it. I’m an asthmatic singing smoker! But, for some reason, I look at it as the last remaining bit of me. I’ve definitely cut way back. At night, when I’m out drinking my wine, I’ll have cigarettes rationed to me. But I don’t smoke at home.”

“asthmatic singing smoker”
Wow. I wonder how her lungs are. They must be battered. And not to mention craving for air. Good for her for making this change!

oh stuff it monique, quitting is hard and kudos to her for trying. I know what she’s going through, if everyone could just quit because they wanted to, you would not have smoking cessation companies out there making their money.

Good luck to Pink and Michael and anyone else trying to quit! I smoked for 20 years and quit and it’s not easy! One thing that helped me was to carry a pack with me at all times. Knowing they were right there if I wanted one made me less stressed. I carried a pack for a year but didn’t smoke any of them.

Leave Monique alone I quit cold turkey. Those who cant just put the damm things out and not light up again are weak. All you whiny “I cant quit” smokers are just insipid little twats with no spine.

There are very few people who would call me “an insipid little twat” to my face. The internet makes people really loose with their words. You are most likely just another coward with a computer. Either that or just an incredibly rude person.
I’ve smoked for 30 years. I’ve tried everything on the market. Would wear a patch, chew gum and eat a lozenge while I lit another smoke.
Smoked my last on Monday. I am now using an e-cig called Envy. It is working. My wife is even able to tolerate me thru this change.
“Oh Please”, grow up. Being rude behind a computer is old school. Try being a human.

Good for you Pink! I am a vegetarian, and supporter of animal rights and environmental issues, which I feel are related. I have always admired your courage to speak out, and do whats right even when its not the easiest, or most popular thing to do. Will be keeping you in my thoughts, and I know that you will master this habit. Fight hard not to allow something challenge your will and spirit.
