Candy Spelling confirms exclusively to Life & Style that she and her daughter Tori are mending their relationship after a three-year-long feud. “I’m very happy to say that Tori and I have taken it to where I think we both want it,” Candy tells Life & Style. “We are communicating.”
The public feud started on Tori’s 2006 VH1 sitcom So NoTORIous and the fighting only intensified after patriarch Aaron Spelling’s June 2006 passing.
So what sparked the long-awaited reunion? In September, they were both suffering from health issues: Tori, 36, had a stomach condition while Candy, 64, underwent back surgery. “She was in the hospital when I was in the hospital,” Candy explains.
Now Candy, who stars in E!’s new reality series, Bank of Hollywood, which premieres Dec. 14, had even more incentive to make a speedy recovery — finally coming face-to-face with her 18-month-old granddaughter. “I did meet Stella,” Candy continues. “Stella and Liam [Tori’s 2-year-old son] came over to my house, and then shortly after they went on a road trip. But I’m anxiously waiting for them to come back again.”
