Britney Spears’ lip-synced shows are causing controversy in Australia – one of the country’s leading politicians is urging ticket agencies to warn fans when artists plan to lip-sync.

Spears is currently performing Down Under as part of her Circus world tour, but critics have slammed the star for failing to sing live during the shows.

Now the New South Wales Minister for Fair Trading, Virginia Judge, has waded into the debate – insisting ticket agencies should publish a disclaimer to stop gig-goers feeling cheated when an artist fails to provide any live vocals.

Judge has branded Spears’ shows a “Mickey Mouse performance”, adding: “Let’s be clear – live means live. If you are spending up to $200, I think you deserve better than a film clip. The NSW Government would be happy to look at options, such as a disclaimer on a ticket which would warn consumers a performance is pre-recorded.”

Sarah Jessica Parker loves the smell of dirty diapers.

The ‘Sex and the City’ actress – who has five-month-old twin daughters, Loretta and Tabitha, with her husband Matthew Broderick – loves everything about being a mother, especially the less glamorous jobs.

She said: “I love the smell of diapers – I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm liked a baked good. I love the smell of Balmex. Love it.”

The 44-year-old beauty also revealed her seven-year-old son James demanded to have a say in naming his sister Loretta – whose first name is actually Marion.

She said: “He told me he really wanted Marion to be in the mix. We thought, ‘Are we crazy? Do we let our son name one of the girls? Is that the right thing to do? Is it important for him?’ And then he goes, ‘And I want it legal.’ ”

The couple faced criticism this summer when it was revealed they were expecting twins through a surrogate.

But Sarah insists they had tried to extend their brood in other ways first.

She explained to Elle magazine: “I knew there would be lots of opinions about, ‘Well, why didn’t you adopt? Why didn’t you do this? Why didn’t you do that?’ and the truth of the matter is, it wasn’t one or the other for us. We had explored, and continue to explore all options, and this one just happened first. This isn’t the period at the end of the sentence.”

Despite adoring her family, the actress admits she is worried her babies won’t like her when they are older and is concerned their feet will be too big for her huge collection of designer shoes.

She explained: “I have a fear that they’re not going to like me. The only tragedy would be if their feet are bigger than mine.”

Kim Kardashian has sparked speculation she is moving in with Reggie Bush.

The socialite has reportedly been house-hunting with the football star, who she reunited with in September following a brief split – in Los Angeles after both put their luxury homes up for sale.

A source said: “They are looking for a bigger place to live together.”

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star recently admitted she wants to settle down after her sister Kourtney’s pregnancy sparked maternal feelings in her.

She said: “You see what my sister’s going through and it’s so much fun, and she’s picking out cribs and high chairs, and I’m getting her little clothes and little shoes and it’s all so cute!”

Kim’s step-brother Brody Jenner is delighted she has reunited with Reggie.

He recently said: “I love it. I was just with Reggie the other night. I personally think Reggie is one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met in my life. I think he would be an incredible partner for Kim.”

Kim and Reggie, 24, dated for two years before ending their relationship in July because they were not spending enough time together.

Wanda Sykes has confessed to buying a bootleg DVD of the Michael Jackson concert documentary “This Is It” – because she’s too busy as a new mother of twins to go to the movie theater.

The star and her wife Alex welcomed babies Olivia Lou and Lucas Claude in April but she admits the tots are becoming quite a handful.

Sykes insists her parenting duties leave her with little spare time, so she resorted to purchasing a pirate copy of “This Is It” because she was so desperate to see the film.

But the funnywoman admits the disc quality was so bad, it wasn’t worth it.

She says, “There’s so many movies i wanna see, like there’s the Michael Jackson movie I wanna see. I don’t have time so I did something I never do, I bought a bootleg. I know, I know, but it’s something I never do. They’re the worst, mine was really bad!”

James Gandolfini has been caught on camera allegedly threatening a paparazzo.

The actor is said to have taken exception to a videographer taping him as he shopped with his son Michael in New York City on Halloween.

In footage posted on the Huffington Post website, Gandolfini can be seen lunging for the photographer, who tells the star to “Relax, man!”

The hardman then pushes away the camera before shouting, “I’m gonna break your f**king face!”

As WENN went to press it was unknown if the snapper had filed charges against Gandolfini.

Pete Wentz is throwing a ‘Spongebob Squarepants’-themed party for his son.

The Fall Out Boy rocker’s son Bronx Mowgli celebrates his first birthday later this month and the musician and wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz are planning to incorporate the tot’s current obsession into their celebrations.

Pete said: “We got the one-year birthday coming up which is going to be pretty awesome. I think we’re going to go ‘Spongebob’.”

Bronx developed his love for the animated ocean-dwelling sponge because of giant pictures the couple have in their home.

Pete explained: “We have these giant ‘Spongebob’ paintings in our house and I said, ‘Spongebob’ a couple times when we were walking by it. Now Bronx has to stop every time we walk by and he says, ‘Bob.’ ”

However, Pete’s revelations are delighted to disappoint his manager – who thinks Bronx keeps saying ‘Bob’ because it is his name.

The rocker added: “I swear to God he thinks Bronx says ‘Bob’ because of him and I don’t want to break his heart!”

Taylor Lautner struggled to bulk up for the forthcoming “Twilight” sequel – because he hated having to eat every couple of hours.

The teenage actor altered his diet and upped his exercise regime to transform his slim physique into a buff build. Lautner was allowed to eat anything and everything in preparation for the role, but he insists it wasn’t as fun as it sounds.

He tells Star magazine, “Most people were like, that sounds amazing, to be able to eat all the time, and it is at first. But after a year and a half of it, I mean, I have to put something in my mouth every two hours, so it becomes kind of annoying!”
