Eva Longoria says that Desperate Housewives ruins her sex life!

The actress admits she and husband Tony Parker can only get steamy between the sheets at weekends because of her filming schedule in Hollywood and his commitments to his basketball team the San Antonio Spurs, who are based in Texas.

She said: “I work three to four days per week. And then I fly to Texas to spend a long weekend with Tony. So we only have sex during the weekend.”

Eva and Tony’s lovemaking time is further reduced by her interests away from the show.

The 34-year-old actress has set up her own production company and owns a Hollywood restaurant Beso, which serves Mexican food, and admits she hates not being busy.

She added: “I can never sit still and must always be doing something. I founded my own production company.

“We have already developed three TV shows and are currently working on two film projects.

“At the same time Tony and I are building a house in San Antonio and this takes a very long time. Luckily, I inherited my mother’s multi-tasking gene. But you have to set priorities!”

Despite his notorious playboy image, John Mayer – who has romanced everyone from Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Simpson — insists he doesn’t go after that many women because of the scrutiny on his love life.

“It’s crazy to me that in my head, that being 32 and dating women is going to get me in trouble,” he says in a new interview with The New York Times.. “I can’t even explain to you how terrible that feels, that I equate dating a woman with punishment, shame, guilt, disappointment, reproach, reprimand, persecution. It’s a nightmare.”

“I should be having sex with more girls,” he adds.

Model Catherine McNeil displayed disturbing cuts on her forearms at a media event for a teen magazine last week.

The model was photographed with more than a dozen cuts on her arms at a function for Girlfriend magazine at Ivy pool on Wednesday – her first public appearance in months.

The 20-year-old has been on a five-month break from modelling for the world’s top designers, among them Chanel, Hermes, MaxMara and Christian Dior.

Instead, she has made headlines over her romance with MTV star Ruby Rose, whom she was snapped kissing at a Sydney pub last month.

McNeil wore a sleeveless top and made no attempt to hide her arms when she posed for the cameras at the Girlfriend Model Search function.

The troubling trend has raised concerns among psychologists, who said self-harm was now considered fashionable in some circles.

But McNeil’s agent denied that the model had cut her own arms, saying she had simply fallen off a skateboard.

“Catherine has nothing to cover up or hide – she fell off her skateboard into some bushes,” agent Kathy Ward told The Sunday Telegraph.

Monash University professor of psychiatry Louise Newman, who did not comment specifically about McNeil, said self-harm had become fashionable.

“Self-harm is, sadly, very common and is becoming a bit of a trend,” Professor Newman said.

“In some groups of young people, it’s even considered virtually a fashionable thing to do or a way of expressing unhappiness or distress.”

The Twilight Saga: New Moon has had the third-biggest opening weekend in film history.

According to box office totals released Sunday, the vampire romance starring Rob Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart grossed a stellar $140.7 million during its first weekend in theaters, earning $72.7 million on its Friday opening day alone.

“I dare say in all the office pools, I don’t think anyone had near this top gross,” Summit Entertainment distribution president Richie Fay said.
New Moon, the second installment in Summit’s Twilight Saga, also holds the record for most advance ticket sales. A reported 80% of all ticket buyers were women.

Heath Ledger’s The Dark Knight remains the top-grossing weekend box office earner, taking in $158.4 million during its first outing in 2008. Spider-Man 3 stays in second place, earning $151.1 million out of the gate in 2007.

New Moon’s opening weekend even trounced its predecessor’s box office totals.
Twilight earned $36 million on Nov. 21, 2008 and posted a three-day weekend take of $69.6 million.

This January, 90210 will embark on a major same-sex storyline that will pair the show’s token lesbian, Gia, played by Rumer Willis, with Jessica Lowndes’ character, Adrianna.

“This isn’t a fling,” insists executive producer Rebecca Sinclair. “We’re coming at this [relationship] from a genuine place and not going, ‘Let’s do a titillating story that will grab some promotion.’ This is a real aspect of teenager life that’s interesting… And there’s been a real void in the 90210 universe in terms of gay and bisexual characters.”
