Johnny Depp to play ‘The Tourist’ with Angelina Jolie?
Johnny Depp is eyeing the chance to go traveling with Angelina Jolie – he is in talks to step into Tom Cruise’s shoes in The Tourist.
Jolie stepped up to replace Charlize Theron in the remake of 2005 French thriller Anthony Zimmer after the South African beauty was forced to drop out.
Cruise was also slated to star, but pulled out of his part to team up with Vanilla Sky co-star Cameron Diaz in a new movie.
Aussie actor Sam Worthington was reported to have accepted the role, but has since dropped out – and Depp has now been lined up for the lead part, according to Variety.
The film tells the tale of a female agent on the hunt for an elusive ex-boyfriend, who becomes a wanted man.

Vanessa Paradis better watch out, Angelina must be ready about now to steal someone else’s husband (or partner, as is the case w/Vanessa & Johnny)

I believe Johnny Depp will forego any hanky panky with Angelina Jolie, the main reason is he has a beautiful,loving wife and two beautiful children and a nice life in France with this family, why would he screw it up to romance Angelina and her 6 kids. Jolies lifestyle is not what I call inviting, it sounds awful actually, she is hardly a catch with her history and with all of the children she has, 3 of which are Brads biological children, there would be no worthwhile reason to hook up with her for the long term. Vanessa Paradis models for W magazine once in awhile , she is beautiful and down ot earth and ha smany business interests, I believe Johnny Depp is happy with what he has and wouldn’t do anything to ruin that.

Why does Hollywood continue to “remake” movies that never end up being any good. The original is from 2005, so a remake is necessary 4 years later? http://newsy1.wordpress.com

Just for your edification Madeleine, Johnny and Vanessa are not married and he has a home in France but lives in LA most of the time. He does however have a stable loving relationship with Vanessa and his children so I don’t think there is any worry there.

FIRST OF ALL I PERSONALLY DONT CARE,AND SECOND ( IF I DID) I WOULDN’T BE NIAVE ENOUGH TO THINK THAT HOLLYWOOD ACTORS OR ACTRESSES DON’T REACT LIKE MOST OTHER MEN AND WOMEN IN THE WORLD, IF THEIR INTERESTED IT’LL SHOW. PERIOD!

I am assuming all these stars are dropping out due to Angelina. I am sure their spouses/significant others do not trust Angelina and I can’t blame them one bit, especially since there are rumours about her and Brad having trouble. She is most likely looking for the victim to sink her hooks into and help her raise her brood. I pray Johnny doesn’t do it, it will be the first movie I’ll have to skip. Angelina is a one trick pony when it comes to acting, she bores me professionally and personally.

Angelina did NOT steal Brad Pitt. No one can steal anyone away from someone else. The marriage between Pitt and Aniston was already on the rocks and he would have walked regardless, ESPECIALLY since he wanted children and Aniston..the SELFISH Aniston…put herself and her career ahead of him! She brought the end of her marriage all on herself! The rumors about Angelina and Brad are just that. RUMORS! Do you people believe everything you read!? Especially you, Dora?! Are you Aniston on here in disguise! Who cares if she “bores” you?! Do YOU have an Oscar!? SHE does! Are you a licensed pilot!? She IS! Are you a Goodwill Ambassador!? SHE is! Do you contribute millions of dollars a year to the needy?! SHE DOES! Angelina is hardly boring, but your nasty post most certainly IS! As for assuming these stars are dropping out because of Angelina, that is highly unlikely! I just have to shake my head at people like you, especially since Brad just recently said that he and Angelina ignore all the talk about their relationship because it is NOT true!

Why would a AWSOMELY, talented, wonderful actor like Johnny Depp EVEN CONSIDER TO lower his standards to be anywhere near that untalented, has been! NOT A GOOD MATCH! WHAT ARE THEY THINKING! DEPP HAS TALENT! JOLIE COULDN’T ACT HER WAY THROUGH A 3 MINUTE COMMERCIAL! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON’T DEGRADE THE AWSOME DEPP WITH ANY APPEARANCE OF JOLIE IN THE SAME MOVIE! IT WILL BE A DIASTER!
