Madonna has been spotted with boyfriend Jesus Luz for months now — some blogs and gossip Web sites have even speculated the pop star is planning to marry the Brazilian model — but according to Madge, she’d pick death over walking down the aisle again.

“I think I’d rather get run over by a train,” the 51-year-old pop icon told David Letterman when asked if she would marry again during her appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” Wednesday night.

“Now I’m married, you’re not married. Go figure,” Letterman joked with Madonna during her eighth appearance on the late night talk show.

The singer referred to her time with ex-husband director Guy Ritchie as “the Bush years … It was a good time to be out of America.”

When asked if she thought she would ever find love again, she told Letterman, “I don’t know, I’ve lost perspective. Do you know?”

Letterman also had some fun with Madonna’s recent reported romantic endeavors with New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez.

“Have you ever ridden hockey players before?” Letterman asked after the pop star was carried on stage by the New York Rangers hockey team.

“No, that’s the one sport I haven’t investigated,” Madonna joked.

On the heels of news that Jon Gosselin is trying to shut down production of Kate Plus 8, the network that made him famous is firing back with claims that his latest legal move is purely in his own self-interest.

Gosselin now claims the filming is detrimental to his kids and he’s now determined to bring in police if that’s what it takes to stop the production.  Hmm, it’s detrimental now? Now that he was booted from the show? Ya don’t say!

“We are aware of Jon Gosselin’s recent statements, and remain deeply disappointed at his continued erratic behavior. He and the family were shooting as recently as last Friday, without incident, and his latest comments are grossly inaccurate, without merit and are clearly opportunistic,” TLC said in a statement to PEOPLE. “Despite Jon Gosselin’s repeated self destructive and unprofessional actions, he remains under an exclusive contract with TLC. Direct filming of the children has been currently suspended, pending further conversations between both parents.”

THE INSIDER broke the news that “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ dad Jon Gosselin is seeking to stop production of his TLC show. THE INSIDER has now learned that a sign banning camera crews has been posted by Jon’s team at the gate of his family’s home in Wernersville, Pennsylvania.

The sign reads: “Notice: No film crew or production staff from TLC is permitted on this property under penalty of trespass.” Jon Gosselin’s name also appears at the end of the notice.

Jon’s attorney Mark Jay Heller told THE INSIDER: “Jon realized his family was like a trainwreck, so he decided to put the brakes on the divorce and on the show … because if he didn’t the family would be in a mortal accident … the victims of a trainwreck.”
