Lindsay Lohan’s dad, Michael Lohan, isn’t happy about his daughter’s prescription drug use. And he has vowed to get her off the meds.
“It’s not just drinking and illegal drugs that kill you,” Lohan reveals to Radaronline.com. “Prescription drugs can destroy and kill a person and are sometimes harder to stop. Look at Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson.”
And he blames prescribed drugs for her failed film career.
“You know why Lindsay’s not acting in feature films right now? Because she can’t. Because the girl with all the talent is hidden and buried deep inside this fungus that’s grown because of the prescription drugs.”
He adds: “When you hug her she’s, like, vacant inside. When she kisses or holds me I get chills, and not in a good way — in a bad way.”
Pictures: Here is Lindsay at a party thrown by Mario Testino during Paris Fashion Week 2009 in Paris, France last night.

So Hilary Duff’s character Olivia was finally introduced on Gossip Girls last night, and what did you think? I think the whole show is so terrible, and I’m sickeningly addicted to it. Is Dan really that naive? He’s just too freaking goofy for me. Look at his shoes in the second picture. They say it all.

Remember that whole DUI incident, resulting in an anti-Semitic tirade from Mel Gibson? In the eyes of the law, that misdemeanor basically never happened, as a Malibu judge signed documents expunging the DUI from the actor’s record, TMZ reports.
Judge Lawrence Mira signed the petition, which requested that “the plea, verdict or finding of guilt in the above action be set aside and vacated, and a plea of not guilty be entered, and that the complaint be, and is hereby, dismissed.”
The conviction still holds for “gun control purposes,” as well as in the event that Mel be arrested for a DUI in the future.
Mel’s lawyer, Blair Berk, requested the motion to dismiss on September 21 after Mel had finished three years probation.

Jon Gosselin and Bethenny Frankel of “The Real Housewives of New York City” face-off on THE INSIDER panel tonight, Tuesday, October 6th.
Frankel tells Gosselin her perception of his situation with estranged wife Kate, “Everyone’s mad at you right now. America has a big problem with the fact that [your kids] are growing up on a television show. You never know what the effects will be 20 years from now. I’m as mad at her as at you.”
Her advice to Gosselin? “I think you’re defeated. You need to pull yourself up from your bootstraps and get back to your kids and get your crap together and get those kids off TV. You need to pull it together.” Gosselin says,” That’s what I am trying to do.”
Frankel goes on to say, “It looks like you went through a rebellious phase.” Gosselin responds, “Of course. I went from 32 to 23. My therapist has told me that. My therapist told me I went from 32 to 23.”
