Daisy would want Jessica to get a new dog…
It’s been exactly a month since Jessica Simpson’s prized pooch, Daisy, was snatched from her backyard by a coyote. In time, her grief will subside, but for now the 29-year-old singer is heartbroken but believes her dog would want her to move on.
“Daisy meant the world to me,” she told Usmagazine.com at a QVC event in NYC Tuesday. “I hold her memory very, very close. It was an unfortunate thing what happened. That I don’t have her every day … It’s a very hard thing to talk about.”
The 5-year-old Malti-Poo went missing on Sept. 14 in Los Angeles. That night, she created a missing dog poster that read “I Miss My Mommy … Daisy” all over her neighborhood. After a frantic weeks-long search, Simpson gave up.READ MORE

Raising six kids under the age of 9 is a difficult task, and Angie herself admits that life is “absolute chaos at times.” Which makes her statements in a new interview all the more shocking: For the first time, she’s confirmed that she and Brad Pitt, 45, plan to adopt again — and have another biological child. “I can see further additions to the family — both adopted and our own,” Angelina, 34, tells the British magazine Stylist in its October issue.
Brad and Angie plan to add another two children, if not more, to their family, confirms an insider close to the couple. “They want one more biological baby and an adopted baby — for now,” the insider says. “But who knows what the future holds. Some people get addicted to drugs and alcohol, but Brad and Angie are addicted to children.”
Why the need to adopt again? Angelina’s work as a Goodwill Ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees exposes her to children mired in poverty and war worldwide, and she’s motivated by a noble impulse to help. In Syria, the U.N.’s Al-Achi tells Life & Style, “Angelina and Brad both took time to play around with the children they visited.” But their desperate desire to save needy kids comes at the expense of the six they already have. “Rescuing children out of third world countries is wonderful, but it’s very stressful each time another person who has his or her own needs and demands and who’s also competing for attention and love is brought into a family,” says psychotherapist Jenn Berman, author of The A to Z Guide to Raising Happy, Confident Kids.
And Angelina clearly realizes that she’s being stretched too thin. “We have to make sure we can devote enough time to each of them,” she tells Stylist, referring to Maddox, 8, Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, Shiloh, 3, and 15-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne. “There’s always one of ours demanding that I help color in something very important with crayons.”

The hair is darker, bordering on brown, but Jaycee Dugard’s clear blue eyes still sparkle in a face lit by a brilliant smile. Looking out from the cover of People magazine, the young woman who was kidnapped at the age of 11 appears to be 10 years younger than her 29 years.
“I’m so happy to be back,” reads the headline on the cover of the Oct. 26 issue, which hits newsstands this Friday. The cover photo of Jaycee, the first since she was rescued on Aug. 26, can be viewed now on People.com. READ MORE!
