Lindsay Lohan’s fame-hungry father Michael, has spoken to the press once again about his concerns for his daughter, this time saying that he fears his daughter could be “dead in a year.”
“It could be a year, a month, a week – who knows?” Michael Lohan told Grazia magazine. “She has a plethora of medicine you can’t mix and can’t drink with.”
He added, “She needs long-term rehab. I fear the worst. Look at Elvis, Anna Nicole Smith, Heath Ledger – who was a close friend of hers.”
Michael Lohan recently appeared on Maury Povich’s television show and claimed his daughter has an addiction to prescription pills saying, “There’s nothing left of her.”
Sure, Lilo’s recent look has her being compared to the equally blonde and thin Donatella Versace, but it hasn’t stopped her from speaking out against her father’s voiced “concern.”
“I’m so hurt that someone who calls himself my father needs to use the press to communicate with me,” the actress told Usmagazine.com. “It’s so sad that he needs to stay in the media spotlight by using my name and making up excessive lies. He should instead try to be a real father.”
And of course you are. And you probably feel weird about it too, dontcha. He’s only 17! Okay, maybe I’m the only one who feels weird about thinking he’s hot.

I hate it when I get into a show – only to turn around and have it cancelled because it doesn’t get the ratings the big execs are looking for. How can a show build up an audience if you give it less than a year to try!! Isn’t that frustrating!?
HBO is going to show usHow to Make It in America with a new comedy pilot. Courtesy of Mark Wahlberg’s production company, Closest to the Hole (also responsible for Entourage, In Treatment and the forthcoming Boardwalk Empire), writer Ian Edelman will reveal how to achieve the American dream through three 20-something New Yorkers. According to the Hollywood Reporter, HBO-based producer Rob Weiss of Entourage has also signed on to offer insights from his experiences as a student at the Parsons School for Design.
“This show is a fun ride through the downtown scene, examining the cross section of people and how they relate to the relevant subcultures in NYC,” Mr. Weiss, who is executive producing the pilot , told the Hollywood Reporter.
I first fell in love with Bryan when he played Uma Thurman’s young lover in Prime (he was the only thing that made the movie worth watching!), then went on to star in the short lived (but much loved, sniff, sniff) ABC drama October Road. You may recognize him from One Tree Hill, I’ve just never seen the show.
