On the heels of news that Jon Gosselin is trying to shut down production of Kate Plus 8, the network that made him famous is firing back with claims that his latest legal move is purely in his own self-interest.
Gosselin now claims the filming is detrimental to his kids and he’s now determined to bring in police if that’s what it takes to stop the production. Hmm, it’s detrimental now? Now that he was booted from the show? Ya don’t say!
“We are aware of Jon Gosselin’s recent statements, and remain deeply disappointed at his continued erratic behavior. He and the family were shooting as recently as last Friday, without incident, and his latest comments are grossly inaccurate, without merit and are clearly opportunistic,” TLC said in a statement to PEOPLE. “Despite Jon Gosselin’s repeated self destructive and unprofessional actions, he remains under an exclusive contract with TLC. Direct filming of the children has been currently suspended, pending further conversations between both parents.”

I will admint that I am on Jon’s side (but that doesn’t mean I agree with everything he has done). When things appeared to be ok between them last season everyone would bash Kate for being such a bit*h but now they all act like she is the greatest thing ever. Do they forget how she acted before and why Jon left her? Jon didn’t want to do the show anymore but Kate made him b/c she is a money hungry idiot…this is her punishment. She acts like she is forced to go out and make money for her family..she has tons of money from the show! Can’t stand her and can’t stand to watch the show anymore since they make Kate out to be the perfect mom now. Why didn’t she want to be a mother before? ugh, can’t stand her!

It will be interesting to say the least to watch Jon go out & get a real job. Funnier to watch him pay child support, & have to provide medical insurance for his kids. Even more funny to watch him have to stop playing the footloose playboy in Vegas & LA. And totally halerious to watch him have to own up to his resposibilities. Now go ahead & bite the hand that feeds you again.

Are u kidding me? A professional should be called in to give an opinion on the wellbeing of the children. All this sounds like sour grapes on his part. Did he consider the effect on his children when they find out he cheated on their Mother, his wife? Once you are a celebrity you are subject to scrutiny, may be that is why he didn’t want the show to go to another season. He got caught. Where is his moral compass? Someone pls get the children profesional assistance so they come out of this as best as possible. Good luck Kate, it is difficult to raise a large family, economically and emotionally.

I have not been impressed with the way that Jon Gosselin has been conducting himself but I am glad to see that he is finally steping up to the plate and stoping the show. It is not healthy for any family to be involved in a reality show. They need to fight to save their marriage and family and that will not happen as long as they are having every private moment filmed. There is not enough money on earth that is worth losing something so precious.

Jon was having a mid-life crisis….now he figures out that he’s made a huge mistake and wants his family back. Don’t think he’s in love with what’s her face…it’s just a fling. He’ll write a book and make millions and probably get on another reality show, like Dancing with the Stars or something. I never understood why anyone would want to watch a couple raise 8 kids. Who cares?

I didn’t see Kate run out and have an affair. What a poor example for the kids seeing the way their father is handling this tough time. Times get tough…go have an affair and act out of control? Now he is concerned about the way the show is having an effect on the kids….get real!!!!!

I believe jon she was on his back all the time what are they both going to do about money when all the kids are in school is kate going to sit around and eat grapes with her bodyguard.
Kate is not perfect she was on the front page of a magazine spanking one of the sextuplets for blowing a wistle while kate was on the phone and kate always seems to be on the phone .
And kate another time when she was being interveiwed she started to cry and was more concerned about messing up her makeup.
Kate is a big phoney.

As much as I liked watching the show I am glad that it is going off the air. Kate was nothing but a Bit*h to Jon. Now it is reversed where Jon thinks the girls are after him when all they want is their pictures taken. Get real to both of them and stop being so money hungry and concentrate of taking care of your kids. Even though I think Jon was wrong in what he did I don’t see Kate as Mother of the year all of a sudden which she is pretending to be. Kate, when your kids are thirsty maybe give them a glass a water instead of worry about yourself. I think they both should grow up.
