Devoted readers of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight saga know that Eclipse is the volume in which conflicted vampire Edward Cullen and reluctant virgin Bella Swan finally get engaged.

That means, of course, that at some point on the Vancouver set of the novel’s big-screen incarnation, Robert Pattinson will whip out a ring and ask real-life love Kristen Stewart, “Will you marry me?”

As if their millions of fans collectively willed it — the blistering-hot young actors are truly, madly, deeply in love. So much so that, as OK! reported last week, they’re spending nights together in Rob’s suite at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre. And things have gotten so serious that on-set sources say the young superstars are even playing up their romance on set.

“If Kristen is looking for Rob, she’ll say, ‘Has anyone seen my husband?’’’an insider tells OK!. “And Rob loves to say, ‘Have you met my lovely wife, Kristen?’ It’s cute. They’re like a couple of love-struck teenagers.”

Amid intense are-they-or-aren’t-they speculation, Robsten had kept their relationship under the radar in recent weeks — but then burst out of the closet with an unabashed make-out session among legions of fans at the Aug. 15 Kings of Leon concert held in Vancouver’s GM Place arena.

But since that public PDA, they’ve been sneaking around after dark like — well, like a couple of vampires. “There are those subtle pats and glances on set, but they save the real kisses for after the sun goes down, late at night, when you see them disappear into their hotel,” another source tells OK!.

Why so shy all of a sudden? To paraphrase another sprawling screen saga (The Godfather): It’s business. Twilight’s producers have told Robsten to keep their love on the down low — at least until after the November release of New Moon, the second film of Stephenie Meyer’s series, in which Bella gets involved with hunky werewolf Jacob Black, played by Taylor Lautner.

It’s all about suspension of disbelief. The studio bosses “fear that if a romance between Rob and Kristen is confirmed,” the insider says, “Twilight fans won’t buy into the screen chemistry between Taylor and Kris.”

Are Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag headed to divorce court?

Possibly — if Heidi, 22, gets pregnant.

“He said, ‘That’s the quickest way to divorce,’” she tells MTV News. “I said, ‘No, sucker — you’ll be locked in. What do you mean?’”

Spencer, 25, says he isn’t joking.

If she gets pregnant, “I told her there’s a divorce or adoption,” he says. “If she’s not down with the adoption, I think it’s divorce.”

Why doesn’t he want a baby?

“I’m a baby. I’m not prepared,” he says. “And I’m not sure the world wants a Spencer Pratt spawn.”

Four months after getting married, Heidi — whom Spencer says is “trying to have a baby like it’s going to buy a new pair of Louis Vuittons” — says she’s “ready” for kids.

“I think I was born ready,” says The Hills star. “I’m very maternal. I’m very loving. I would be the best mom ever. [He feels] not quite the same, but maybe he just doesn’t know he wants kids yet. I think he never wants kids, but maybe I’ll have a surprise for him.”

The Transformers star admits she has struggled with mental health problems since her youth, and, although she hasn’t been officially diagnosed, she is convinced she shows symptoms of the serious psychiatric condition, which often torments suffers with auditory hallucinations, paranoid delusions and social dysfunction.

The 23 year old reveals she has spent years meticulously studying the life of movie legend Marilyn Monroe, who died of a drug overdose at the age of 36 – because she fears her own problems may lead her to a similar end.

She tells Wonderland magazine, “I basically read every book ever written about Marilyn Monroe. I could end up like that because I constantly struggle with the idea that I think I’m a borderline personality – or that I have bouts of mild schizophrenia.

“I definitely have some kind of mental problem and I haven’t pinpointed what it is.”

On Aug. 28, Angelina Jolie took 3-year-old Shiloh Jolie-Pitt out for a special mommy-daughter day — like any other parent-child duo. The difference? These two popped into the town of Ajaccio on the island of Corsica just for the day! There they chowed down at La Paninoteca Cinecitta Caffe. “They split a panini,” a witness at the restaurant tells Life & Style about Shiloh and Angie’s meal. “They were talking and seemed really happy to be out with each other.”

The duo also stopped at the market, where they picked up a poodle push toy for Shiloh, another push toy for Shiloh’s older sister, Zahara, 4, and a toy sword for her older brothers, Maddox, 8, and Pax, 5. And it’s simply all in a day’s work for this member of the self-described nomadic Jolie-Pitt clan.

But while a brief lunch in Corsica isn’t a run-of-the-mill afternoon activity for a typical American girl, Shiloh is surprisingly well-adjusted. “She’s so full of light and love — she’s just a little honey and very, very funny,” Angelina, 34, has said. “I think I’m recognizing some of myself in that one — she’s going to be a little bit of trouble.”
