Kim Zolciak: “I was never a stripper!”
Kim Zolciak wants to make one thing clear: Although she once waitressed at the Cheetah, an Atlanta strip club, she never took off her clothes. Had she been a stripper, as recent reports have suggested, Kim says she’d be the first to admit it. “I’m honest about the fact that I’m dating a married man,” she told Life & Style during a no-holds-barred interview on Sept. 24. “[If I’d been] a stripper, why wouldn’t I tell you?” While speaking to Life & Style, Kim also addressed several rumors that have made this Southern single mom one of the most talked-about Housewives in history.
Rumor: Her ex-hubby is loaded
Truth: Kim gets “no child support and no alimony” from the father of her daughters, Brielle, 12, and Ariana, 7, she tells Life & Style. So how does she pay for the family’s big house and fancy clothes? “Before The Real Housewives came along, I worked as a nurse,” Kim explains. “I also waited tables. I worked two full-time jobs.” That all changed when she started dating “Big Poppa” — her mystery boyfriend, who is reportedly real-estate mogul Lee Najjar (right). “When I got with Poppa, I didn’t have to work anymore,” Kim says.
Rumor: She falsely claimed to have cancer
Truth: On The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s season-one reunion show, Kim said she first started wearing wigs because a mystery illness caused her hair to fall out. The other Housewives blasted her for suggesting she had cancer — but Kim says that was never the case. “It was a cancer scare,” she explains, adding that a thyroid condition contributed to the problem. These days, Kim tells Life & Style, she’s in perfect health.

When Kim was working at the Cheetah, she went by the name Barbie. Strippers use fake names, not the waitresses. Whatever this girl says, the opposite usually turns out to be true.

I agree, she is still a whore. I find it funny that she says \"dating a married man\" no honey, thats called having an affair. You are a kept woman, he is financing your lifestyle. And it is interesting that she enjoys spending his money. What kind of message is she sending to her kids? She is an irresponsible woman if you ask me.

I went to high school freshman year with Kim. ( She is in fact 31 now since I am.) She went to our high school in Manchester, Ct for one year before going on to Windsor Locks HS in CT. Here is the thing. What fucking nursing school did she attend? She was rumored to DRESS LIKE A NURSE- NOT ACTUALLY BE ONE at the Cheetah. I call foul on this. She was always full of bullshit..

I worked with Kim in Atlanta and can confirm that she worked as an assistant, not a nurse… and as a stripper at the Cheetah and not as a cocktail waitress. Funny that someone who has wronged some many people and lied to so many people think she can sweep her lies under the rug in a small town like Atlanta. She was always looking for a handout when I knew her and I guess after seeing her on the show that you can count on some things staying the same.

kim is not a nurse but a cna, certified nursing assistant, which takes two weeks of school. you have to work a job for a year to keep your certification current….. so i am sure she is not even a cna anymore
