Khloe Kardashian Gets Married!
After just one month of dating, Khloe Kardashian and Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom have married, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.
The ceremony, which began Sunday afternoon just after 5 p.m. with the traditional Wedding March, was held at the Los Angeles mansion of Kardashian family friend and music manager Irving Azoff.
It is the first marriage for both Kardashian, 25, and Odom, 29, who has two children from a previous relationship.
Kardashian’s immediate family members — mom Kris Jenner, stepfather Bruce Jenner, sisters Kim, 28, and Kourtney, 30 and brother Robert — were among the 200 guests, who received cupcakes in purple and yellow Lakers colors as favors.
Kardashian’s bridesmaids wore short strapless lilac dresses.
Also in attendance were Odom’s L.A. Lakers teammates, Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Osbourne, reality star Brittny Gastineau and TV personality LaLa Vasquez.
“I wish them the best, and I’m sure they are going to have a great, happy, long marriage,” Vasquez told Us at an event last Thursday.
Kardashian and Odom made their first public appearance Sept. 3 at West Hollywood club Guys and Dolls.
“Khloe is smart and beautiful, and that is very hard to find,” Odom — who recently signed a four-year, $33 million contract with the Lakers — told Us at the time.
Why the rush to the altar?
Odom’s basketball schedule was one issue. (The Lakers are set to play their first preseason game on Oct. 7.)
“Khloe and Lamar [wanted] to get married before Lamar has to go away for training, and the [basketball] season starts up [this fall],” a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly.
Despite the quickie nuptials, the pair will last, their friends tell Us.
“They are just a great couple,” wedding guest Gastineau told Us last week. “I think when you meet a couple, you can just tell if they work. And they work.”
Added Lakers player Ron Artest, “Love is strong, so I think it’s cool. I’m happy for them.”

Well, this gets my vote for most revolting spectacle of the year. The kartrashians wll do anything for publicity. btw, irving azoff is known all over LA for not paying people who have done work for him. (I know several people he ripped off) Really unsavory character here. Her vera wang dress was way too tight and buckling on her body. Maybe she really thinks she is a size 6 (what other sites are reporting)! I have seen her up close recently & she is no size 6. My hubbie thinks she is more like a 12. Other websites are reporting the marriage is not legal yet as they haven’t hammered out the prenup, and they will make it official later. So what was the point of doing this tack-fest now? Just for the attention. Pathetic.
