It’ll be hard to anyone to fill that blue shirt quite like Billy Mays — but the marketing company behind Mighty Brand products is prepping a nationwide search for a new pitchman to take his place.

Media Enterprises tells us the hunt will begin August 19 with auditions in Tampa, FL – and will continue throughout the country. We’re told Mays’ image will remain on the Mighty products, but the company is looking for someone with as much enthusiasm as Billy to sell it.

The first product the new person would be pitching is the Mighty Sponge — a sponge so strong it can allegedly absorb 2 liters of Coke.

The gig could end up being pretty lucrative for whoever nails it — for one of his last commercials Mays was paid seven figures for one day’s work.

Fans rocking to Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler could have shouted a simple warning: Hey, don’t walk this way!

Instead the 61-year-old music legend fell from a concert stage at South Dakota’s famed Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

Tyler was flown to a hospital with minor injuries early Thursday and treated for minor head, neck and shoulders injuries.

“You could kind of see it coming because he was dancing all over the stage,” said Lance Yellow Robe, who was eight feet from the stage when Tyler toppled shortly after midnight.

Mike Sanborn, spokesman for the Buffalo Chip Campground which hosted the outdoor concert, said Tyler was dancing around on stage after the sound system failed during a performance of “Love In an Elevator.”

“He put his [mic] stand down and twirled around and stepped backwards off the stage,” Sanborn said.

Security rushed to help the singer, and the crowd cheered when he got back up. Tyler was taken backstage. Minutes later Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry returned to the stage and announced that Tyler was being taken to the hospital.

The show would not go on. “He was in good spirits when he got in the helicopter” Sanborn said.

“He was talking and joking with the physician.” Sanborn said Tyler was seen on site by a physician and flown to Rapid City Regional Hospital, the area’s only major hospital.
