Katy Perry is “inspired” by Pink.

The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer is such a fan of the ‘So What’ vocalist she went to see her perform in Australia on Thursday, and swiftly took to her Twitter page to praise her.

Katy wrote: “out 2 c the P!NK show in Melbourne! She rules AUS! Can’t wait, I KNOW she won’t sing that song,”There U Go” but I chuckle and wish!

“okay, THAT was AMAZING! YOU MUST see the show when it comes to the STATES! P!NK @ her prime… so happy I went, inspired. Good morning USA (sic)!”

Katy – who is known for her outrageous stage outfits – admitted she was jealous of 29-year-old Pink’s clothes.

The 24-year-old singer wrote: “she’s really great… Shows so many different dimensions and is still personable, relatable, f***ing RIPPED and wears HIGH A*S HEELS. HOW? FAN (sic)!”

Pink is not the only music star Katy is in awe of.

She has previously admitted she was a huge fan of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury and No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani.

She said: “When I grow up I want to be just like Gwen Stefani. It’s not a race it’s a marathon. I keep telling myself this.”

Christina Aguilera will release a new flanker to her 2007 eponymous perfume called By Night. Last year she introduced another fragrance titled Inspire. Christina Aguilera By Night is said to be inspired by the color red. The singer explained why she chose it:

Red is THE color. It is unparalleled in its seductiveness and femininity. This is the reason why I have selected it for this perfume. Red stands for passion and warmth, red allows a woman to appear sexy to others and to feel sexy to herself…

The tag line is “By Night, it’s all you need to wear.”

The perfume is a fruity oriental. Top notes are mandarin, red apple, freesia, almond accord; heart notes are vanilla flower, peach; base notes are amber and black vanilla.

Lady Gaga warned Kanye West she’d refuse to tour with him unless he agreed to put on a “gay” show for her homosexual fanbase.

The Just Dance hitmaker and the rap superstar announced in June their plans to hit the road together as co-headliners. But before agreeing to the trek, the pop star made sure West was aware her outrageous productions are aimed at her gay followers.

She told the rapper, “I just want to be clear before we decide to do this together: I’m gay. My music is gay. My show is gay. And I love that it’s gay. And I love my gay fans and they’re all going to be coming to our show. And it’s going to remain gay.”
The 23 year old insists she will always remain faithful to that section of her fanbase – because it was the gay community that launched her career.

She tells Out magazine, “When I started in the mainstream it was the gays that lifted me up. I committed myself to them and they committed themselves to me, and because of the gay community I’m where I am today. I very much want to inject gay culture into the mainstream. It’s not an underground tool for me. It’s my whole life. So I always sort of joke the real motivation is to just turn the world gay.”

The roadshow is reportedly set to kick off on October 4th in Lady Gaga’s home state of New York.

Amy Winehouse is posing as her cat to send secret messages to Blake Fielder-Civil.

The ‘Rehab’ singer has created a profile for her pet feline Shirley on social networking site Facebook and is using it to talk to her estranged husband, who she is in the process of divorcing.

In a series of bizarre messages, Amy refers to Blake – who is in rehab in Yorkshire, north England – as ‘Sailor’, known to be one of her nicknames for him.

One of the rambling posts reads: “Oi mummy was saying to her friend about the time she made you breakfast and you drank all the nesquik til you was sick xxxxxxx (sic).”

Another says: “Sailor sort it you’re her co-hort. consort still. as you both know you’re unswerving. just as much as you’re deserving.”

Last night, the cat’s status read “Shirley loves Sailor”.

Amy and Blake were granted a decree nisi – a preliminary stage of divorce which will become absolute next month – in the Family Division of London’s High Court on July 16 following the breakdown of their troubled two-year marriage.

At the time, Amy’s spokesman said: “She is ready to move on following the end of the marriage. Amy has not had any contact with Blake for months and is focusing on the future. She is finishing her album and in good health.”

Steven Tyler is thanking fans, doctors and his guardian “angel” after surviving a nasty tumble at a concert earlier this month.

Tyler was airlifted to Rapid City Hospital after falling off the stage while performing at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota on August 5, 2009.

He broke his left shoulder and needed 20 stitches on the back of his head and the band has subsequently cancelled the remainder of its summer tour.

Now the veteran rocker has spoken out in a lengthy statement, released on Thursday, to explain the accident and praise those who saved his life.

Tyler explains the gig first took a turn for the worse when thunderstorms caused an hour-long delay, and audio systems malfunctioned shortly after the band took to the stage.

He says, “Well, I wasn’t gonna go hide under the big top and play ‘ROCK STAR’ and wait for everything to be fixed. I wanted to go out to the crowd to continue the show. I was doing the Tyler shuffle and then I zigged when I should have zagged… AND I slipped, and as I live on the edge… I fell off the edge!”

The 61 year old thanks fans for their “love and support” and heaps praise on the police department and helicopter operators “for getting me outta there before I bled to death”.

He also acknowledges the doctors and nurses who looked after him as well as “the angel on my shoulder”.

Katie Price has finally told her children she has split from Peter Andre.

The glamour model – who raises three children, Harvey, seven, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii, with the ‘Behind Closed Doors’ singer – made the heartbreaking decision to explain their parents are no longer together after previously shielding them from the truth.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “She sat them down and told them that her and daddy still loved each other but they would no longer be living together. She was really kind and gentle with them. It broke her heart having to tell them.”

Katie, who is now dating cage fighter Alex Reid, also insists she is a good mother and only goes out when it’s Peter’s turn to look after the kids.

She said: “I am trying so hard to help keep the routine of the children going through this period to ensure they are not affected in any way. I hear people say I am a bad mother as I never spend time with the children. I spend plenty of time with them, just not in public.”

“When Pete has the children he does what he wishes to do with them and I keep myself busy with work, seeing friends and having breaks overseas. I have to keep myself busy otherwise I will go nuts.”

Since the split in May, Katie – also known as Jordan – has spent a wild week in Ibiza and openly frolicked with Alex during a trip to Spain.
