Don’t count Jon Gosselin out of the picture just yet.
Reports of his saying he’s ready to withdraw from TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 are not only premature – they just aren’t true.
“I never said that,” Jon told People while speaking outside his house on Wednesday. “A fan asked me, ‘Don’t you sometimes wish you could go back to a 9-to-5 job?’ [And my reply was,] ‘Yeah, because this is 24/7 and 9-to-5ers punch in and punch out and you have no responsibilities.’ ”
Pointing to the paparazzi collected outside his family home, Gosselin said, “Here … you have to watch what you say so it doesn’t contradict something else.”
He believes the story was the result of someone having “overheard something that was nothing.”
Clearing up other misinformation, Gosselin said, “And the other one was that the kids didn’t want to film anymore. No, they just didn’t want to film that day.”
That’s easily explained, too. “It’s 96 degrees outside and they just said they wanted to go in the pool. So guess what? They took their clothes off, put their swimsuits on and jumped in the pool … I just looked at my producer and said, ‘What are you going to do?’ ”
As for his literal fashion statement – being photographed in a T-shirt bearing the message, “Lies, Lies” – Gosselin says: “I just thought it was funny, because people can write anything about me … How can you write something about me or say something about me without actually asking me?”

Leonardo DiCaprio is set to become the latest celebrity to get seriously skinny for a film role.
The movie hunk faces a weighty battle to lose a pile of pounds for his new movie Inception, which has been written by The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan.
A set insider says, “There’s an action scene coming up at the end of the year in which he needs to appear emaciated, so the pressure is on. Leo isn’t the kind of guy who can just lose a radical amount of weight… He’s following a strict diet and is embarking on a rigorous workout regime. Leo’s a pretty determined kind of guy, when he sets his mind to things he always achieves them. Though this is going to be hard for him, you can guarantee he’ll succeed.”

Rumer Willis doesn’t owe her acting career to her famous parents.
The 21-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore admits the family name gets her auditions, but insists she wins parts because she is a great performer.
The budding actress – who stars in upcoming horror film ‘Sorority Row’ – told BANG Showbiz: “You can’t do anything about who your parents are. I think everyone has opportunities and everyone has doors that are open to them in different ways. If you’re talented you’ll get work. If you suck then you won’t. In the end, talent is all that matters because you could go and get an audition, but if you go in there and you suck you’re not going to get a job.”
Rumer is the eldest of Bruce and Demi’s three daughters. She grew up on film sets but only decided to become an actress “recently”. Rumer denies her parents steered her into the industry, insisting neither one has ever tried to offer her career advice.
She explained: “In terms of my parents, they let me make my own way. They’ve just been entirely supportive and extremely great in that way so I couldn’t ask for anything better.”

Snoop Dogg has teamed up with a popular dancer to create a new organization aimed at keeping at-risk youngsters off the streets.
The rapper has recruited entertainer Tommy the Clown to form the C.L.O.U.T. Foundation (Changing Lives One Youth at a Time), which they hope will prevent teens turning to drugs or crime.
The star is planning to hold a Battle Night every month in Los Angeles, where local students can take the stage to show off their poetry, dance or drama skills. And Snoop, who was a member of the notorious Crips street gang in high school, has credited a former teacher with inspiring him to provide opportunities for underprivileged kids.
He tells AllHipHop.com, “As a youth I had one teacher who really pushed me to be the best and gave me an outlet to really feel like I could be somebody – and I became successful partly because of his belief in me. I want to give that to the kids so they know there is more to life than the street hustle or crime. I have been friends with Tommy the Clown for years and see what he has done for so many people; this partnership is very important to me.”

A judge overseeing the trial of Miley Cyrus’ alleged stalker has refused to reduce his $55,200 bond – because he considers him “a danger” to society.
Mark McLeod, 53, was arrested twice for hounding the Disney star on the set of her latest movie The Last Song.
He was taken into custody in August, just weeks after he was cautioned by cops in June for making “inappropriate comments” to young Cyrus fans. McLeod had also told officers he was engaged to the young star and that she sent him secret messages through her TV show, Hannah Montana.
In his preliminary hearing on Tuesday, investigators told Judge Steven Scheer that McLeod had told security personnel he would be returning to the set and “finishing things,” which he saw as a threat to Cyrus.
Judge Scheer agreed MCLeod was a threat to himself and others, telling the court, “I can’t deny him bond, but if I could I would because I do feel he’s a danger.”
He then refused to lower the bail amount, and decided there was enough evidence for the case to go to Chatham County State Court, Georgia.
The 16-year-old Hannah Montana star was granted a temporary restraining order against McLeod earlier this month.
