An inside source tells FOX411 that Gwyneth Paltrow has secret plans to shift her public image and become the next Martha Stewart. She wants to create her own lifestyle brands for women and families and cut back to doing one movie per year. Husband and Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin has even dubbed Gwyneth’s appointments to plan her takeover of the lifestyle sector her “Martha Stewart meetings”!
The insider, who works with paltrow, tells FOX411, “Her plan is to stay visible in the occasional film, but to create products for real women. She is working on new products for her own beauty line under Estee Lauder and looking at different products for moms at home that she can tie to her website, GOOP.”
And Gwynneth has new product lines all ready for launch, says the source.
“Her charity clothing line for ZOEtees, which will benefit Kids Company, is about to debut, and that was a major project. Other products will follow suit.”
Martin lightly mocks Gwyneth’s big plans, but he never asks her to stop them, the insider adds. “She still spends plenty of time with him and Moses and Apple and she continues to be a very protective and present mother.”
It’s a good thing Chris doesn’t try to hold her back, because he’d lose, says the pal. “She has become a power multi-tasker, so she’ll take meetings while she’s sitting around her movie sets. Gwyneth wants to create an empire, but her first priority is always to her family. She is finding ways to merge the two so that other women and mothers will be able to do the same.”

Anne Heche’s ex Coley Laffoon is firing back after she called him a “lazy a**” on Wednesday’s Late Show With David Letterman.
“After coming home from showing two different clients two different condominiums, I was disturbed to see Anne taking out her personal frustration on the father of her child on national television,” Lafoon, 35, an employee with Los Angeles real estate company Hilton & Hyland, tells Usmagazine.com in an exclusive statement.
On Letterman, Heche, 40, complained about the $3,700 per month in child support she gives Laffoon for their 7-year-old son, Homer. “He goes out to the mailbox and he opens up the little mailbox door and goes, ‘Oh! I got a check from Anne! Oh! I got a check from Anne! Yay!’” she sardonically told Letterman.
Laffoon, who filed for divorce in February 2007 after five years of marriage, also responded on his Facebook page, writing: “I wish Anne Heche could see that public bullying isn’t good for the soul or positive for her child. It’s mean.”

Things are about to get “Complicated” for Avril Lavigne and hubby Deryck Whibley. Sources close to the couple, who have been married since 2006, say they’re headed for Splitsville.
That seemed apparent when the Canadian songstress was out and about in Southampton last weekend – sans hubby and looking anything but married.
“She wanted to get away from Deryck and have a weekend to herself,” says a source close to the “Sk8er Boi” singer.
A spy at celebrity eatery Georgica indeed saw Lavigne getting away – but hardly spending any time alone. Instead, says the onlooker, she was partying hard and hanging with a number of male admirers. Only later in the evening did Lavigne get paranoid about what the nearby paparazzi may have captured on film. “She kept running up to the photographers and asking to see the pictures they took,” says one partygoer.
Lavigne continued her Saturday night at another Hamptons hot spot, Axe Lounge, where she danced the night – and perhaps her rocky marriage – away.
Trouble has been brewing since early this year for Lavigne and Whibley, who haven’t been photographed together since last December – and things have gotten significantly colder between the two since the summer heated up. Whibley attended the L.A. premiere of “Transformers” solo on June 22, while his missus jetted off to Saint-Tropez for a week with her girlfriends. One vacationer at the celeb-studded Riviera getaway spilled that she was definitely enjoying the paradise and pina coladas, perhaps a little bit too much.
So what does this mean for Lavigne’s upcoming album, which her Sum 41 husband was supposed to be helping her with?
Industry insiders say that although the two have already worked together on a few tracks for the CD, due out Nov. 17, Lavigne will be going ahead with it solo – just like her weekend in the Hamptons.
Reps for both Lavigne and Whibley didn’t respond to calls for comment.

So what does Anne Heche really think of her ex-husband, Coley Laffoon?
“Can you say ‘lazy ass’ on TV?” the Hung star, 40, said in a fiery interview on Wednesday’s Late Show With David Letterman. She then sarcastically added, “No, no, no. That’s terrible.”
Heche and Laffoon – who have a 7-year-old son, Homer – have been bickering ever since he filed for divorce in February 2007 after five years of marriage. She said he was a deadbeat who watches porn and hits strip clubs; he called her mentally unbalanced.
Last June, they reached a settlement, with her agreeing to pay him a $275,000 lump sum and $3,700 per month in child support for their son.
But Heche is still bitter.
Asked by Letterman what Laffoon does for a living, she sniped: “He goes out to the mailbox and he opens up the little mailbox door and goes, ‘Oh! I got a check from Anne! Oh! I got a check from Anne! Yay!’ ”
Heche – who welcomed her first child with current beau, former Men in Trees costar James Tupper, in March – also scolded Letterman for wedding his longtime girlfriend Regina Lasko.
“Don’t get married,” the actress told him. “Forever engaged is a wonderful romantic thing to do.”
