Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley getting divorced?
Things are about to get “Complicated” for Avril Lavigne and hubby Deryck Whibley. Sources close to the couple, who have been married since 2006, say they’re headed for Splitsville.
That seemed apparent when the Canadian songstress was out and about in Southampton last weekend – sans hubby and looking anything but married.
“She wanted to get away from Deryck and have a weekend to herself,” says a source close to the “Sk8er Boi” singer.
A spy at celebrity eatery Georgica indeed saw Lavigne getting away – but hardly spending any time alone. Instead, says the onlooker, she was partying hard and hanging with a number of male admirers. Only later in the evening did Lavigne get paranoid about what the nearby paparazzi may have captured on film. “She kept running up to the photographers and asking to see the pictures they took,” says one partygoer.
Lavigne continued her Saturday night at another Hamptons hot spot, Axe Lounge, where she danced the night – and perhaps her rocky marriage – away.
Trouble has been brewing since early this year for Lavigne and Whibley, who haven’t been photographed together since last December – and things have gotten significantly colder between the two since the summer heated up. Whibley attended the L.A. premiere of “Transformers” solo on June 22, while his missus jetted off to Saint-Tropez for a week with her girlfriends. One vacationer at the celeb-studded Riviera getaway spilled that she was definitely enjoying the paradise and pina coladas, perhaps a little bit too much.
So what does this mean for Lavigne’s upcoming album, which her Sum 41 husband was supposed to be helping her with?
Industry insiders say that although the two have already worked together on a few tracks for the CD, due out Nov. 17, Lavigne will be going ahead with it solo – just like her weekend in the Hamptons.
Reps for both Lavigne and Whibley didn’t respond to calls for comment.

She’s drinking and partying her brains out to get him to quit her first! But like Gwyen’s hubby Chris.. Deryck just isn’t that interested anymore.

She watched my BF propose to me 3 years ago just 5 feet away from her table .. and pointed and giggled at us but didn’t congratulate us; while she spoke about Vera Wang this and Vera Wang that … who’s laughing now? Karma is b**ch!!

NO it is not over for Avril and Deryck, Avril was in New York on business for setting up a fashion show.
The rumors are crap Avril and Deryck were just seen and photographed together on Beverly Hills 08/29/2009

Amen Kar!!!! How many times has avril “Been pregnant” in the last three years?!?!? how many times have they been “about to split” since they got together?!?!? just because they are low-key and dont broadcast their lives to magazines, the magazines make up bullcrap about them. Avril leaves on business, and they have a rocky marriage. Deryck goes to a Transformers movie alone (which btw husbands and wives do that ALL THE TIME!) and their marriage is ending! LEAVE THEM ALONE! Avril and Deryck ROCK!
