Leonardo DiCaprio on the set of Christopher Nolan’s “Inception”

Coming off “Revolutionary Road”, Leonardo DiCaprio will next join forces with “The Dark Knight” helmer Christopher Nolan in “Inception”. Variety reported that the 33-year-old actor takes on the lead role for the contemporary sci-fi actioner.
Before he goes on with this project though, “The Aviator” star will be seen in another Martin Scorsese’s movie, “Shutter Island”. He is also attached to two other projects, “The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt” and “The Chancellor Manuscript”.
“Inception”, in the meantime, is based on an original script written by Christopher Nolan. It has been described as a “contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind.” Nolan will carry out the role of co-producer along with Emma Thomas and director. The Warner Bros. Pictures movie is expected to be hitting the cinemas by summer 2010.
