Nia Long for PETA.

That doesn’t look photoshopped at all!
In their newest I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur campaign, PETA has chosen fab chick Nia Long to pose nude for the cause.
Nia says:
“In being a responsible adult and really understanding what happens for one fur coat and how many animals are killed and slaughtered for one fur coat, it just isn’t worth it to me.
When I became a mother, I started to really understand the importance of all living creatures in a way that I didn’t ever think about before. And I’ve realized how important it is that we really take responsibility for … treating animals with love and care just like we would any human being. There’s no difference, in my opinion, [between fur and] slavery or the Holocaust. It’s just that we’re not dealing with human beings, we’re dealing with animals, but it’s still a living thing.”

Not even a good PhotoShop job at that. And the image of a subway pole between her legs is beyond gross. I love Nia Long, but this ad is trashy.

And the whole fur and Holocaust analogy – don’t even get me started on that…

hey lola…she\’s right…just because those cruel things happen to animals doesn\’t mean it\’s less cruel than holocaust to humans. you should take a look what humans do to those animals. so…don\’t even get ME started in that

lene, that you and other animal rights fringe members make no distinction between the most heinous act of GENOCIDE (an organized extermination of humans driven by notions of ethnic superiority) in known history and use of animal fur for clothing does your cause no favors. And I’m not even Jewish.

wonder how she feels about abortion???????? and I’m talking about the end product – the dead baby – not the right to do it . . .
If they aren’t protesting about killing human beings also, then I don’t even want to hear it because it’s too contradictory
that goes for Pamela Anderson too – she should just shut her cake hole

i try to figure out why you people think…that just because you are a human being…you are something better than an animal (sorry for my english, not my mother language). why do you have more right to live than an animal? that’s just cruel.

@tiger:
i’m pro abortion. let’s see that realistic and let me explain without causing a fight or hurt your feelings…that’s not my intention: why don’t people adopt? from my point of view gettin’ pregnant is egoistic. why? the world is overpopulated by humans. why do they put more human beings into this world instead of helping children who are already there and need a loving home?
“the end product”…as you called it…is no “baby”. that’s just what you make of it. it starts to take shape of a baby and so on…but at until third month…it’s just a “blob”. i don’t know how to call it in english…so let’s call it that (no pun) and that’s the frame in europe where abortion is allowed. don’t put motherly feelings into that. it doesn’t have developed a character to this point and so on. life is starting but it’s not a “finalized baby”.(again…sorry…for my english)
just because it’s human…you call it a baby…but i suggest to abort an animal-baby is ok for you?
well…you should have the same feelings about that. because someone else decides about life and death.
i don’t want to start a fight. i’m not very into your opinion and you are not very much into my opinion i guess. but you should really, really think about…what’s the difference for you between the worth of an animal and a human being? why do you think you and other humans on this overpopulated world have more worth or rights to live?

Nia Long is desperate and out of her mind!!! How could she put animal cruelty, slavery and houlocoust in the same sentence…There\’s definitely NO comparison. She has totally insulted African Americans and Jews!!
She may not be wearing FUR but I\’m quite sure she wears LEATHER….so what\’s the difference.

lene, we don\’t believe we are better than animals (at least I don\’t). People get confused when one doesn\’t seem to empathize with their own species.
