Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag Pratt shared some controversial views on a radio show earlier this week.

In a Monday appearance on Alex Jones’ radio show, Infowars, the couple revealed they feel 9/11 was an “inside job,” say the idea that global warming exists is “mind boggling” and lament the “end of humanity.”

The Pratts told Jones — who is known for his conspiracy theories of a “New World Order” (or, as he feels, code for “totalitarian world government”) — they found out about him after a music producer gave them a copy of Jones’ movie, The Obama Deception.

“I really do feel like we took the blue pill or whatever from The Matrix,” Spencer says.

Since then, says Heidi: “We’ve been nonstop researching the Internet…for information for at least a month all day every day.”

“How are we so famous when…there’s been nothing about the biggest bill since the Patriot Act being passed, [the Cap-and-Trade bill, which regulates carbon output, among other environmental issues] and nobody reading it,” Spencer questions. “It’s mind-boggling trying to say there’s global warming right now.”

Jones also brings up the idea of human microchip implantation to erase the need for credit cards or identification. Heidi is troubled by the idea.

“This is very serious. It says in the Bible this is the mark of the beast, and that is a sign of worshipping the Devil. So over my dead body would I ever get a chip in my body,” she says. “My body belongs to Jesus Christ. I am a disciple of Jesus, and I will speak out to Christians….this chip is the end of humanity.”

Heidi also admits she’s now “very scared” of birth control.

“I feel like God was telling me that this was something just created by the government that is really bad for my body, and I was just getting sick,” she says. “I researched it, and one of the founding people who invented birth control said it was the worst thing they had ever done, they wished they’d never created it, how it morally corrupted society, it’s just sickening to him. How it devalues women, how it causes depression, how it can cause cancer, how it sterilizes your body, and what it does to your body, how most women are suicidal sometimes on it.”

Spencer backs up Jones’ believe that 9/11 was an “inside job.”

“From your research, it 100 percent is,” Spencer says, adding later: “I want to throw up.”

He also compares The Hills to the government.

“The narrator [Lauren Conrad] didn’t get along with us. She skewed the information on the show, just like the American government can manipulate the media,” he says. “We used to have a phenomenal relationship with the media, they’ve kind of turned on us now because they’ve created us into such a monstrous thing…like they made us too big, like the Obama-sized us….”

Heidi says her new beliefs will be taken “very seriously” because: “I’ve always been a very serious Christian, and most Christians understand what’s going on. They understand they’re being persecuted. They understand this is the end of the world. They understand the New World Order, the One World Currency, is all in Revelations in the Bible, so they’re taking me very seriously and they know when I mean something, that it’s a message.”

Even Miley Cyrus is in on the “awakening,” Heidi and Spencer say, after they put it on Twitter.

Heidi doesn’t expect everyone to agree with her new views.

“Conspiracy is a word they’ve created to make people sound crazy, but that’s not what God says.” she says. “You can persecute us, you can say whatever you want. ”

Spencer is so changed, he says, his “first rap album is going to be called Infowars.”

“My first single, I’m pretty sure is going to be called ‘Patriot Act,’” he adds.

Spencer tells Usmagazine.com of his appearance on the show: “We get very passionate and excited talking about the New World Order with Alex Jones. The Fourth of July has me extra excited with the energy of our founders!”

Lindsay Lohan’s 23rd birthday isn’t until tomorrow, but she’s already managed to profit off the day.

According to sources, the troubled starlet was paid a cool $70,000 by the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to host an all-day “pre-celebration” at the hotel’s Wet Republic pool party last Saturday.

At the event, which served as a promotion for her Sevyn Nine self-tanning mist, Lohan changed bathing suits five times before throwing on club gear and dancing to Michael Jackson songs for the rest of the night.

But friends of Lohan say the event was less of a celebration and more of an urgent attempt to pull in some cash. “None of her really close friends were there,” said our insider, who noted that ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson was also missing from the festivities. “The only person who was even known was Brittny Gastineau.”

Lohan didn’t drink at the party and actually allowed her photo to be taken. She was also overheard saying she was still distraught from publicity over the disappearance of jewelry she’d modeled for a recent Elle magazine photo shoot in London.

The hard-partying actress is planning to have “a small private party with friends in LA” tomorrow, according to our source — but her mom, Dina, and sister, Ali, have been asking her to come home to Long Island and spend her birthday with her family.

This wouldn’t be the first time Lohan has tried to make a buck off her birthday. She was scheduled to have her 21st bash in conjunction with Las Vegas nightclub Pure, but the party was canceled after Lohan checked into rehab. She also tried to find corporate sponsors for her 22nd birthday by setting up a Web site. A rep for MGM did not return a request for comment.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 ratings plummeted 77 percent last Monday.

Only 2.4 million viewers tuned in — significantly down from June 22′s much-hyped divorce announcement episode, which was watched by a record 10.6 million.

(In comparison, the show’s season 5 debut attracted 9.8 million watchers.)

Monday’s episode, titled “The First 10 Years,” consisted mostly of old clips. The show is now on hiatus until Aug. 3 to give the family “some time to regroup,” the network said in a statement.

Kate plans to continue taping the reality hit. After announcing her divorce to TV cameras, she said through tears: “The show must go on!”

The Gosselins released a statement Tuesday saying they would no longer speak to the press.

“Our goal is to do the very best for our children and that will be done as privately as possible,” the Gosselins wrote on TLC’s Web site. “We appreciate the understanding, support and well wishes from so many.”

Following a year of dodgy performances, Jessica Simpson picked up the mic again to perform the National Anthem Wednesday at the opening ceremony of the Tiger Tourney. She wore a hip-hugging red-and-blue striped dress.

The singer – whose beau Tony Romo participated in the Tiger Woods event – “eventually left the first green before any of her body parts managed to escape,” notes the Washington Post.

Simpson was greeted by a slew of photographers when she first arrived in Washington D.C. Tuesday.

She was jokingly asked if she’s waiting for Romo to win a Super Bowl before she agrees to marry him.

Simpson (who turns 29 July 10) replied, “He’ll win. Tony is playing with Tiger tomorrow. That’s all I’m thinking about.”

Romo recently addressed marriage rumors.

There are “none that I can think of,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m sure you guys can tell me something new here soon enough, though.”

Last week, Simpson confirmed Us Weekly’s original report that she is doing another reality show. The Price of Beauty, which will follow the singer as she travels around the world in search of what people find beautiful, debuts on VH1 in 2010.

Hilary Duff is coming to start some drama on the Upper East Side.

The singer and actress is joining the cast of Gossip Girl for a several episodes, reports EW.com.

Duff will play Olivia Burke, a famous film star in search of the normal college experience. Her school of choice will be New York University, where Blair (Leighton Meester), Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) were also accepted.

And in a excellent twist, Olivia will be rooming with Vanessa! Will they be friends? How will Blair react? And could she catch the eye of a certain Brooklynite?

Duff’s first episode is set to air Oct. 5.

Blake Lewis wants you to dance!

American Idol’s season 6 runner-up will release his second album, Heartbreak on Vinyl, on Oct. 6 via Tommy Boy Entertainment. Shifting from pop-rock to dance-pop, Lewis says his new album, “the culmination of over 10 years in the dance scene,” will be “filled with electro pop goodness with melodies I cherish.”

Currently in the studio finishing the record, Lewis called on producers Rodney Jerkins (who’s worked with Britney Spears and Lady Gaga) and Dave Aude (who’s worked with the Pussycat Dolls) to craft his new high-energy sound.

“The music in the dance scene gets me out onto the dance floor to lose my inhibition,” Lewis says of the inspiration behind his new project. “The title is an ode to all the record stores that have been closing down due to my industry eating itself. These are the stores that brought inspiration to all of us music lovers and have led me to make the music I create today.”

If there is still anything going on between Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Aniston, it certainly didn’t seem to be on the actor’s mind on Tuesday night as he enjoyed a romantic Manhattan meal with Renée Zellweger.

The pair, who co-star in the upcoming Case 39, were spotted together at Antonucci, an elegant Italian restaurant on NYC’s posh Upper East Side, where one diner tells OK! that this was no friendly chow session.

“He pulled her chair out for her when she sat down and he kissed her on the hand,” says the witness. “If they’re just friends, they were being awfully affectionate!”

Renee and Bradley were seated at a corner table, where diners describe their behavior as “flirty,” “relaxed” and “cute together.”

In a white Henley, jeans and red sneakers, the He’s Just Not That Into You hunk was more casually dressed than his dinner date, who sported a thigh-length black, bell-sleeved dress and strappy shoes with very high heels and carried a Hermes clutch.

“Throughout the dinner they were playful and flirty,” a witness tells OK!. “She played with her hair a lot, and she would often touch his arm when she was making a point about something.” The lucky celeb-spotter also reveals to OK! that Renée even leaned forward across the table on a few occasions to play with his napkin.

“At one point, he seemed to want to whisper something to her as if it were a secret,” says the diner. “He spoke into her ear and then they both started giggling.”

Perhaps not wanting the night to end too quickly, the pair remained at their table, sipping tea and chatting long after they finished their food.

When the check arrived, sources tell OK! that both Brad and Renée reached for it. “She told him she wanted to buy him dinner to pay him back for something,” says the witness. “And when he opened the check, it already had her card in it!” We’re told this little surprise caused Brad to blurt out, “You [expletive]-er!”

Witnesses also say that the 40-year-old Oscar-winner jokingly referred to herself as a “cougar” because of Bradley’s youthful 34 years.

After conferring over who was supposed to call whom next, the dining duo did their best to throw off the waiting paparazzi by leaving five minutes apart and hopping into separate cabs.
