First Kate Gosselin’s book was delayed, then her reality show went on hiatus.

Now her clothing line promotion deal with Healthex is up in the air.

“Our project is on hold while she focuses on her family,” Healthtex rep Scott Pryzwansky told RadarOnline.com.

Gosselin, 34, was hawking the line as recently as May on the Rachael Ray Show. She handed out a gift bag that contained what Ray described as “a Healthtex outfit [Kate] helped design and create.”

The fall clothing line is still available at Wal-Mart, but Gosselin is not involved.

On Monday — one week after she and Jon filed divorce papers — Christian publisher Zondervan announced her upcoming cookbook, Love Is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories, wouldn’t hit stores this November as originally planned.

The book promised an “inside look at one of America’s most famous close-knit families.”

TLC also confirmed Jon & Kate Plus 8 was going on hiatus until Aug. 3. Viewership was down 77 percent on Monday’s episode.

Kevin Jonas surprised his girlfriend Danielle Deleasa by showing up at her doorstep in New Jersey early Wednesday morning and dropping down to his knee to ask her to marry him. Presented with a cushion-cut diamond ring that Jonas designed with Jacob & Co., Deleasa couldn’t believe what was happening.

Then, “She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row,” the oldest of the Jonas Brothers tells People exclusively.

Jonas, 21, and Deleasa, 22, who met in May of 2007 while vacationing with their families in the Bahamas, haven’t set a wedding date yet. “It still feels like a dream,” she tells People.

Overnight Flight
When Deleasa, a former hairdresser, first met Jonas two years ago, she admits, “I didn’t know who the Jonas Brothers were.” It was Kevin who eagerly pursued her after meeting her and then spotting her walking on the beach with a flower in her hair.

Jonas popped the question after arriving in New Jersey on an overnight flight from a concert in Vancouver. “It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world,” he says.

And while the news is bound to break a lot of young girls’ hearts, the Jonas family couldn’t be happier.

“Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage,” parents Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. say in a statement to People. “Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family’s celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support.”

And younger brothers Joe and Nick said on their Twitter page: “Congrats big brother…..Dani welcome to the family, we can’t wait to have you join us on the road!”

Bestill, wagging tongues: Leighton Meester is not engaged to Gossip Girl co-star and real life beau, Sebastian Stan, according to Celebuzz.

The rumors arose after Perez Hilton picked up an article from the New York Post dating back December 2008 with the rumor that the twosome had changed their Facebook status to “engaged.”

Celebuzz cites sources that say the two are definitely not engaged.

Perez has since updated his post to say they aren’t betrothed, and Leighton doesn’t even have a Facebook page.

So, to clarify, a rumor from six months agothat was recently brought back to life by Perez Hilton isn’t true. We know, we’re as shocked as you are.

It seemed perfect: The rumor mill (specifically Perez Hilton) reported today that ultimate underdog Susan Boyle was inking a deal to appear alongside Mode underdog Betty Suarez in an upcoming episode of Ugly Betty.

But unfortunately for fans of the Britain’s Got Talent break-out, it won’t happen. ABC reps say the rumor is entirely false.

Better fatten up, Courtney, or you might not live through this.

That’s what doctors told Courtney Love after getting a look at the rocker-actress’ emaciated celebrity skin, not to mention her skinny doll parts.

Love caused a buzz when she showed up in midtown last month looking painfully thin.

The former Hole lead singer, 44, told the U.K.’s Daily Mirror that a doctor gave her a shot of vitamins and told her to “start eating.”

“I know I’ve got too skinny,” the formerly voluptuous blond said. “I know I need to sort it out.”

Love, the widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain who died in a 1994 suicide, is feeling the stress from a slew of financial difficulties.

In March 2008, she told police that identity thieves had posed as the late Cobain in order to buy a $3 million New Jersey mansion and loot as much as $72 million from his estate.

Reports earlier this year put the estimated losses as high as $750 million, or basically the entire fortune Cobain left to Love and their daughter, Frances Bean.

Love is also being sued by American Express over unpaid credit.
