She could have been in the hottest movie of the summer.

Instead, Lindsay Lohan, 23, declined the role of stripper Jade in The Hangover after declaring the screenplay “had no potential,” Us Weekly reports in its its latest issue (on newsstands now).

A source tells Us that director Todd Phillips approached Lohan to star in the hit flick — which has raked in $205 million so far — after their mutual agent campaigned on the actress’ behalf.

“The agent tried hard to get Phillips to consider her,” says the source, “and when he finally agreed, Lindsay said she didn’t like the script!”

The role went to actress Heather Graham.

“Page Six” is reporting that Michael Bay got his revenge on Megan Fox for her rude comments about “Transformers”. In her audition for the movie, he had her wash his Ferrari:

When the sizzling star of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” went to director Michael Bay’s house to audition for the part, “He made her wash his Ferrari while he filmed her,” reports Jason Solomons in Britain’s Guardian.

“She said she didn’t know what had happened to that footage. When I put it to Bay himself, he looked suitably abashed — ‘Er, I don’t know where it is either.’ ”

Now I think that’s totally sexist of him to say it like that and he probably referred to her as the help. It was enough that he already had said that she was basically nobody until he found her and put her in his movie. I guess it might have been his way to just say, “Be humble”, but he should’ve went about it differently.

In May’s “Desperate Housewives” season finale, we saw a lot happen to Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher), including a near-death experience with her son.

After Susan’s ex, Mike (James Denton), rushed to their rescue, the two shared a passionate kiss. That kiss was followed by a wedding scene, in which Mike was marrying a veiled bride… but was the bride Susan? Or was it his fiancee, Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany)?

We won’t find out for sure until this fall, but sources tell me September’s “Desperate Housewives” premiere is set to feature a Susan Mayer wedding… or the preparations for one at least (who knows if she’ll actually go through with the “I do”s).

Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Susan wasn’t the lady Mike married in the season finale. As every “Desperate” fan knows, the show is no stranger to flashbacks, divorces or second chances. But I’m beginning to think the tide turned in Katherine’s favor. Just my gut feeling.

Either way, there’s good news for Susan on the horizon. Rumor has it, daughter Julie (Andrea Bowen), who was mostly M.I.A. last season when “DH” jumped forward five years and sent her off to college, will return to Wisteria Lane full time come fall.

Julie’s father, Susan’s ex Karl (Richard Burgi), who hooked up with Bree Hodge (Marcia Cross) in the season finale will supposedly be showing up on a regular basis as well.

Kanye West’s girlfriend, Amber Rose, has found herself some gainful employment — the bald-headed model announced on Globalgrind.com that she just inked a deal with the Ford agency.

The contract, Rose writes, is “proof that when you work hard, good things do happen.” At least to people with powerful friends: We hear Rose linked up with Ford after her pal Russell Simmons introduced her on the phone to former Ford Models CEO Katie Ford.

I guess we’ll be seeing a lot more of her and her rainbow hair in the very near future.

Looks like Kanye West is covering his fashion bases! First, he worked gratis for Louis Vuitton and Raf Simons, now Kanye is going mainstream by working at Gap!

As Us Weekly initially reported Kanye has been quietly putting in the hours as an intern at the Gap offices. “He works all the time, and one Friday night recently, he stayed until 12 a.m. He’s learning the fashion business from the inside and trying to do it quietly,” the site stated.

Gap confirmed the story to StyleList: “Kanye’s been spending time working in Gap’s offices, working with Patrick Robinson, as he’s interested in gaining more firsthand experience of the fashion industry.”

From the sounds of our Gap source, we speculate that Kanye is probably not interning but rather working on a collaboration. (After all, we can’t really see the music mogul fetching coffee and managing calendar appointments like a usual fashion intern.)

Plus, considering the cool capsule collections with last year’s CFDA winners, could a Kanye/Gap one be far behind?

And at first his much-hyped Louis Vuitton sneaker collaboration was delayed until the end of the year, now we hear that it may be already sold out! (Figures.) But with the current Gap stint, maybe Kanye is learning that fashion is fickle and flying under the fashion radar is the right way to go?
