Burglars apparently knew what we didn’t — Orlando Bloom had hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry in his Hollywood Hills home. Notice the past tense, because we’ve learned burglars made off with the bling last night.
Law enforcement tells us the thieves entered Bloom’s house through a window and made off with roughly $500,000 in jewelry — including two very expensive watches.
Cops fingerprinted and photographed the scene. So far no suspects.
Bloom was in NYC at the time.
UPDATE: Law enforcement sources tell us it does not look like “a typical burglary.” They will not say if it looks like an inside job.

The owner of an extensive collection of photographs featuring nude celebrities—enough to open a “nudeseum”!—exclusively tells E! News that Michael Jackson had been negotiating to purchase his assortment of racy pics before he died.
Website and magazine owner Celebrity Sleuth (that’s what he goes by) says that he was alerted to Jackson’s interest in the photos by Jack Wishna, the Las Vegas businessman who facilitated Jackson’s return to the U.S. from overseas and was trying to organize a comeback engagement for the beleaguered artist in 2006 and 2007.
Turns out Wishna has been working with Sleuth on the nudeseum concept as well, according to the celebrity-skin aficionado.
“Michael was one of the people to show the most interest right away and, up until literally the day before he died, I had an email from Jack saying ‘M.J. wants to do this’ and so forth,” says Sleuth.
He would not reveal the exact amount Jackson was offering, but says it was “eight figures.” (more…)
Gwyneth Paltrow knows that in Hollywood, relationships don’t always last.
“A long-term relationship between two people is an ever-evolving organism,” she writes in her GOOP newsletter on Thursday. “Some stay the course, some fall, all stumble.”
The actress — who was engaged to Brad Pitt and dated Ben Affleck before marrying her husband of five years, rocker Chris Martin — then says she “asked a few very wise women, most of whom are in varying forms of longtime partnerships, for their insights.”
One expert Paltrow sought for tips? Monica Berg, a spiritual teacher and creative director at L.A.’s Kabbalah Center, of which the 36-year-old star is a follower.
“There are no stable marriages. There may be happy ones, but not stable ones,” Berg explains. “Either we are growing forward or falling backwards. This is true in all areas of our life … which is why I believe nurturing relationships is so important. We owe it to ourselves and those we love not to settle for mediocrity in any way, and instead to nurture and allow our relationships to become the source of joy, support and love that they were intended to be.”
Since vampires are all the rage right now, Troy Jensen and I thought it would be cool to try out a more gothic, almost sinister look! This look was inspired by Prada’s fall 2009 runway show and it is so unlike anything I’ve ever done! And no, I didn’t actually get rid of my eyebrows, haha. Troy used an eyebrow concealing wax to hide them! Pretty creepy, right? I call this my Twilight look! What do you think?
