Leelee Sobieski is engaged to menswear designer Adam Kimmel, a friend of the couple tells Usmagazine.com.

See who else will say “I Do” this year.

Sobieski, 26, donned her marquise diamond engagement ring to the L.A. premiere of her latest flick, the Johnny Depp drama Public Enemies, in Los Angeles June 23. On the red carpet, Sobieski told Us she was “leaving to meet him in Paris” the next day.

The actress rose to fame playing a modern day Lolita, opposite Tom Cruise, in the 1999 Stanley Kubrick film, Eyes Wide Shut.

Jon Gosselin brags that he’s bringing back “good ol’ high school days”

Jon Gosselin

Why is 32-year-old Jon Gosselin dating a woman 10 years his junior?

The father of eight is desperate to “feel young again,” a pal tells the new issue of Us Weekly, on stands now.

Jon recently bragged to another friend: “I’m bringing back my good ol’ high school days!”

Indeed: While announcing his split from Kate on their reality show last month, Jon pointed out, “I have a new chapter in my life — I’m only 32!”

Hailey Glassman, 22, likes to have a good time.

“Let’s say school wasn’t a first priority. She was always at parties, drinking, smoking…crazy girl,” a friend recalls in the new Us. Glassman — the daughter of the plastic surgeon who did Kate’s free tummy tuck — was arrested in 2005 for pot possession, cited in 2007 for illegal consumption of alcohol and, that same year, had her license suspended after she failed to appear in court for not wearing a seatbelt.

The couple came out publicly by holding hands while boarding Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier’s yacht in St. Tropez last week. They downed five pricey bottles of champagne, shacked up in a luxe room at the $2,515-a-night Chateau de la Messardiere Hotel and hit local hot spots.

“Christian parties like a rock star,” says a staffer of Audigier. “And Jon [was] keeping right up with him.”

Kate — who stayed home with the kids — has noted Jon’s new lifestyle. In her divorce papers, she wrote, “Jon’s actions have left me no choice.”

Kara DioGuardi’s hubby got frisky at his bachelor party?

Kara DioGuardi

Kara DioGuardi’s new husband may have to face the music with the American Idol judge after she sees Star’s exclusive photos of him getting really up close and personal with a beautiful young blonde — just three days before their wedding!

General contractor Mike McCuddy was feeling no pain, sources say, during his boozy July 2 bachelor party at two bars in Orono, Maine.

Mike, who once taught art at Orono High School, put the moves on a former student, surgical assistant and aspiring model Eve Dana, 21, when they crossed paths at Margaritas.

“He was pretty drunk on beer and shots of liquor, and when Eve congratulated him on his upcoming wedding to Kara, he just said, ‘Yeah, thanks’ — then asked her and her friends to join his group at their table,” an eyewitness tells Star.

After Mike pulled out a chair for Eve next to his, “he started touching her shoulder as he made small talk about living in the Hollywood Hills,” says the eyewitness. “Then one of her friends asked them to pose for a picture together, and he suddenly swept Eve up in his arms!”

Mike, 34, got even friskier later when they were standing at the bar. “They were posing for another picture, and Mike quickly leaned over and planted a big, wet kiss on the side of Eve’s face. She laughed, but she seemed uncomfortable and told him, ‘Hey! You’re taken!’”

Producer: Mischa Barton is going through a rough patch

Mischa Barton

A producer on Mischa Barton’s new flick Homecoming isn’t thrilled she missed the NYC premiere after being involuntarily checked into a psych ward Wednesday.

“It’s frustrating. And it’s not ideal,” Bingo Gubelmann told Usmagazine.com at the Thursday premiere. “It’s frustrating, but I’m not going to sit here and trash her because we’re young as a company and we’ve got to live and learn…I don’t want to be known as the producer that will turn on any actress at the drop of that hat.”

While rolling his eyes, Gubelmann continued that “it’s hard to remember” why he chose Barton to star in his indie flick, “because, you know, she’s not here right now.

“Now, I haven’t spoken to her yet because she’s totally unreachable, so I don’t know exactly what happened. I mean, I’m not as good at taking the high road a some people and yes, it would obviously be nice if she was here. Even just to hang out,” he went on.

Gubelmann said Barton didn’t seem “at all” unstable while shooting the flick in less than a month, 16 hours a day.

“She did it and she did an amazing job. It’s like, maybe she went method and maybe that’s what happened!” he said, laughing.

Producer Austin Stark was more sympathetic toward the actress, who required a police escort from her Hollywood Hills home to the hospital.

“I think we would have loved to have had her come out and support the movie, [but] you know, we wish her the best and obviously we hope she gets better,” he told Us. “Obviously, it’s a trying time for her. I mean, obviously we’d like her to be here but I don’t think it hurts the movie.”

Added producer Benji Kohn: “She’s going through a rough patch and she can’t be here. And it’s really too bad.”

Director Morgan J. Freeman told Us: “I hope Mischa is doing OK. My thoughts and prayers are with her. Health first, movie second.”

Kathy Griffin was an extra for Michael Jackson’s 1984 Pepsi commercial

Kathy Griffin

Kathy Griffin reveals she was an extra on Michael Jackson’s ill-fated 1984 Pepsi commercial.

“I was happy to be an extra. I was just part of the crowd scene,” the comic explains to Extra. “I will just never forget seeing Michael Jackson from a distance and just thinking, ‘Oh my God, that’s Michael Jackson.’ You kind of can’t believe it.”

Griffin says she remembers the scene — shot in L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium in front of 3,000 fans — “vividly.

“Jon [Lovitz] was there. They were taping it. We really didn’t notice [his hair on fire at first],” she says. “When it actually happened…he was literally spinning, and then there was smoke and a bunch of people kind of jumped on him.

“They didn’t tell any extras what was going on. Then rumors kind of rippled through the audience,” Griffin goes on. “By the time I got home that night, it was the biggest news story on the news. It’s fascinating somebody had that tape. And we never knew how serious the injury was,” she says. “I could only imagine that [it] was very painful.”

Lauren Conrad mocks Heidi’s Playboy cover

Lauren Conrad

In August’s Harper’s Bazaar, Lauren Conrad takes Heidi and Spencer Pratt to task over their fame-seeking ways — and her former BFF’s boob job.

Conrad is asked why Montag decided to pose in the September issue of Playboy.

In a sly reference to Montag’s cosmetic enhancements, Conrad replies, “They’re not going to pay for themselves.”

Her digs don’t stop there.

“I don’t call magazines and let them know about things so they can write stories,” she says of the Pratts. “There was never an incentive to keep doing The Hills so I could get into [Hollywood club] Les Deux. That was never the point. It was more to create a fan base so I can go create a business and do something I really love doing.”

She also slams them for wearing masks in Mexico during the recent swine-flu scare following their May wedding.

“I don’t know if it was so funny because people really were being affected by that disease,” she says. “But otherwise [Heidi and Spencer] are very entertaining. You have to laugh.”

Conrad also reflects on her decision to leave The Hills, addressing the various perils of her fame.

“The last three concerts I went to, I was removed by security because I was a fire hazard,” she says. “People crowd around you and you lose that whole personal-space concept.”

“My roommate went to Europe for two months, but I couldn’t take a vacation without clearing it months and months ahead of time,” she says, citing another downfall of starring on a reality show. “My friends all got to date guys who didn’t need to sign a release form.”

Conrad also says filming “affected the underwear I had to buy because I needed thicker underwear with a more sturdy band so it could hold up a microphone.”

“I couldn’t wear whites or prints because they don’t look good on film,” she explains. “I had to consult a director of photography when I picked the paint for my walls because I had to have set lighting in my living room and kitchen. I had to have separate birthday parties for my filming and non-filming friends.”

For Bazaar, Conrad wore a brown wig, which hairstylist Ken Paves has decided to personally donate the wig to a girl named Emily who is undergoing Chemo treatments at a hospital in the Detroit area.

Tony Romo gambles with friends after splitting with Jessica Simpson

Tony Romo

Looks like he’s not lucky in love – or blackjack. Just six days after Tony Romo broke up with Jessica Simpson, leaving her devastated, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback was spotted cruising the casinos in Lake Tahoe, Calif., on Wednesday.

In town for the American Century Championship golf tournament at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, Romo, 29, enjoyed an early morning round of golf with two friends before trying his hand at poker, roulette and blackjack at Harrah’s and Harveys. Though he was losing most of his games, Romo joked with the dealers and was in good spirits as he nursed a cup of black coffee.

Later that same night, Romo emerged with a group of four friends at the Dennis Miller comedy show at Harrah’s. The group eventually made their way to the Cabo Wabo restaurant for a few rounds inside the VIP room before the NFL star called it quits just after 11 p.m.

Earlier in the week, Romo’s curfew was much later than that as he enjoyed a boys weekend in L.A., where his pals made their best efforts to “lift his spirits,” says a source. “His friends wanted him to have some fun before football training starts.”

They’ve got 13 days more days to do just that: Romo is due to report for pre-season training on July 29. Romo’s Cowboys coach Wade Phillips told People at the ESPY Awards Wednesday that he hasn’t spoken to the quarterback since his split from Simpson, “but we start camp in two weeks and he’ll be ready.”
