Humanitarian and actress Angelina Jolie departed for Amman, Jordan, on July 20 with her eldest son, Maddox, to attend the 24th annual Arab Children’s Congress.

Angelina, who has been a supporter of the foundation for years and is a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, will be a guest of honor.

An insider tells In Touch, “She will be staying with Her Majesty Queen Noor, who is a good friend of hers.” The event lasts until July 25.

How does Gerard Butler deal with those pesky Jennifer Aniston relationship rumors?

By joking about it.

“Conan [O'Brien] asked me about Aniston, who is my costar in the movie I’m making now, and I just said, ‘Yeah, we’re getting married. What the he–,” Butler tells Parade magazine.

“Tell a joke, that’s my technique,” he continues. “I learned as a kid how to stay out of trouble: make it funny.”

He also kids about walking down the aisle with a few other women.

“I’m careful to also say that I’m marrying Cameron Diaz and maybe Joan Rivers,” says Butler, who was briefly linked to Diaz in April 2008. “I like to tell everyone I’m going to be a busy guy.”

Butler wasn’t as smooth with his The Ugly Truth costar, Katherine Heigl.

“Truthfully, one time I was supposed to play with Katherine’s hair and I kept forgetting my lines,” he explains. “I was so nervous that I grabbed her breast. Afterwards, all I could do is say ‘I’m sorry.’ Yeah.”

But later?

“We went back to our trailer and made out after the dancing scene,” he quips.

Katie Holmes says she is “very excited” about her upcoming singing and dancing homage to Judy Garland, airing on the 100th episode of So you Think You Can Dance Thursday.

“I like to sing and dance so it is really fun,” she tells Entertainment Tonight.

As Usmagazine.com previously reported, Holmes will dance and sing to Garland’s “Get Happy” from the 1950s musical Summer Stock, wearing an all-black ensemble similar to one Garland once wore.

At one point in the routine, Holmes – who also prances around in a black velvet fedora, nylon stockings and body-hugging skirt – is lifted over three dancers’ heads. For her finish, she tosses her fedora in the air, and one of the other male dancers catches it.

The spot is directed by show producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe and is choreographed by pal Tyce Diorio.

Holmes agreed to the dance after becoming involved with the non-profit Dizzy Feet Foundation, which provides assistance to talented underprivileged youth.

“It is to give scholarships to these young kids,” Holmes tells ET. “I think it is important to experience music and dancing and singing and the arts and sports. This is the next generation. I think it is important to give them every opportunity to grow and discover what it is that they like and to have access to the best.”

“Milkshake” singer Kelis is a new mom!

The singer, 29, gave birth to baby boy named Knight on Tuesday.

Kelis’ ex, rapper Nas, posted an online video celebrating the birth of his son.

“My son is born today, so shout-out to my son, Knight,” the rapper said in a clip.

Us Weekly exclusively revealed Kelis’ pregnancy last January. At the time, she was still married to Nas, 35, who is also dad to a 15-year-old from a prior relationship.

“It’s all they are talking about,” a source told Us at the time of Kelis and her ex. “She is carrying hip-hop royalty! They are so excited.”

The couple called it quits in May after Kelis, then 7 months pregnant, filed for divorce citing verbal abuse and infidelity, according to Vibe, which first reported the break up.

The couple — who met at a 2002 MTV Video Music Awards afterparty thrown by Diddy — tied the knot in a small ceremony in Atlanta in January 2005.

It sounds like the fake belly bump Jennifer Lopez is wearing for her new movie The Back-Up Plan is giving her some ideas.

The singer-actress admits that she and her husband Marc Anthony would like to give their 18-month-old twins Emme and Max a sibling or two. “I would love to have more kids,” the actress tells Extra. “I don’t know if we will. I don’t know if that’s in the cards for us – but we’ll see.”

Lopez, who turns 40 on Friday, also opens up about the joys of watching her twins grow up. “They’re more than walking now … They’re starting to talk,” she says. “I put Max to bed yesterday … and I said, ‘I love you baby. I’ll see you tomorrow.’ And he was like, ‘I love you.’ ”

Speaking of love, Lopez can’t say enough about the positive effects of motherhood. “You just mature so quickly in such a deep way and you think life is short and you have to just go for things. You can’t be afraid to try or do you best … just do it and that’s the example I want to set for my children as well. It’s like you can do anything. The only thing that ever holds us back is fear… It’s a useless emotion.”

Madonna has resumed the European leg of her ‘Sticky And Sweet’ tour following the death of two crew members last week.

The ’4 Minutes’ star took to the stage in Barcelona last night, five days after two technicians were killed when a stage collapsed in Marseilles.

Charles Prow, 23, from Leeds, and Frenchman Charles Criscenzo, 53, died when a giant roof fell on top of them from 50ft.

Earlier this week, the 50-year-old superstar travelled to Marseilles to meet the families of the victims.

Prosecutors in France have since opened a manslaughter investigation into the incident, which seriously injured a further eight crew members.
