The 30-second clip features the actress and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, 34, speaking about refugees. She’ll also sit down with Anderson Cooper Thursday to discuss the same topic.

“Please don’t turn away. Refugees are the most vulnerable people on earth. Every day, they are fighting to survive,” she says. “They deserve our respect. Please do not forget them. Remember them on this day. World Refugee Day.”

When I first saw this photos of Maggie Gyllenhaal posing to promote her movie “Sherry Baby” in Paris, I thought it must be a mistake. The movie came out in the US in 2006, but is just now being released in France! It did premier in Deauville Film Festival in 2006 as well.

If you can’t remember what movie this was, Maggie plays a mom (Sherry) who returns from spending time in prison wanting to reunite with her daughter. It ends up a relative has been watching over the girl and doesn’t think it would be a good idea to have Sherry take the daughter back.

Life & Style has learned exclusively that Carnie Wilson delivered a healthy baby girl named Luciana Bella, at 5:07 PM on Friday, June 12 at LA’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Both mother and baby are doing well and are expected to go home tomorrow, an insider tells Life & Style. Luciana, who weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19 inches long at birth, is the second child for Carnie and her husband, musician Rob Bonfiglio. The couple also have another daughter, Lola Sofia, 4. Congrats to the happy family!
